Not hard to do!
The kit has everything you basically need as described. I made my first gallon using Welches Concord Grape juice. A week later I used frozen blueberries that I thawed to room temperature and made a gallon. After some time the first batch cleared and I bottled it. You will need to get bottles and figure out a method to seal them. I brought a cheap corker for $20, brought a bottle filler for another $10 and a hydrometer to know ABV. Depending on how far you want to go, you will need additional equipment.

Great starter set
I gotta say i was skeptical about this but when I opened the box i was so relieved! Itâs actually very well made started pack. Comes with so many extra items. 3 red wine yeast packets, big packet of wine tannin, 2oz acid blend, 2oz potassium sorbate, 2oz sodium campdem tablets, 2oz pectone enzyme, 2oz yeast nutrients, a syphoner to rack or bottle your end products, a carboy bottle, cheese cloth bag for mush and the fermenter bucket with a airlock. Oh and forgot the booklet has 100 brewing recipes to! Beer, wine, pickling etcI am very satisfied with this product. I would highly recommend it for any beginner. I grow muscadine grapes n other fruits in my house. Always wanted to do more with my produce. This kit opens unlimited possibilities in brewing arts. Theres a lot of farmers that sell discounted fruits n knowing i can use dehydrated fruit or over ripened produce to make yummy drinks n picklings just brings me so much joy! I will definitely buy another kit in the future to gift to family and teach them to make their own yummy brews.

Seems like a great way to start out but day one I am scouring the web for instructions. It came with the ingredients and recipes but no basic instructions.

Impressive Kit
Order showed up quickly, needed that because grapes are ready to go for my wine making attempt. The kit seems complete, has a recipe book but…. I am lost. I am a first time “beginner” wine maker. I don’t see instructions in the kit of what to do. Would be extremely helpful if they had a You Tube video on how to use this kit and instruction on how to make White Wine or other brewing. As I looked through other You Tube video’s I don’t think I have everything I need and perhaps, not sure what I need. That said, not even sure how to test sugar content of grapes as it seems there is a tool for that not in my kit. I may have to send this back but for those of you who are seasoned winemakers or brewers, this Kit was impressive and packaged well. Definitely would help if they had a tutorial.

Nice beginner kit overall!
Iâm a total wine making newbie. The kit arrived in excellent condition, with everything that was advertised. The yeast all have expiration dates that are about two years in the future. IMO, itâs a very good value for someone wanting to try this out. I ended up buying a second one-gallon carboy and have two batches in their second fermentation now.The only âconsâ in this kit is the instructions. It came with a booklet with recipes and single page with procedures. I found them both to be a bit vague and confusing. Also, the instructions on the sanitizer were vague. It doesnât say how long to let items soak or if it can be mixed in a spray bottle (as others can). These are my only critiques. Nice kit overall!

It includes literally everything you need to make a quality first batch of wine, such as the appropriate ingredients, siphoning equipment, etc.I found the manual to be quite useless, and I never used it or understood it, really. I just tried figuring out everything on my own; therefore, the ease-of-use is lacking. I also believe it is priced too high. The flavor & efficiency of the wine is very good. I made wine within a week. I wish they included way more WINE YEAST, which is definitely the most important ingredient, so I’m not sure why they included such a small amount when compared to the other, lesser important ingredients. Although there some pros and some cons, I’d definitely recommend this wine making kit, but I just wish it were a bit cheaper and included more useful instructions and more wine yeast. Other than that, it is excellent in terms of quality, volume, and flavor.

This kit has all you need to get yourself introduced to the the hobby.
I love that it comes with all the additives needed to make about anything. The carboy being only a gallon won’t be able to handle much. But its great for one person to make their own drinks. More of a starter kit to give you ability to see if this is the hobby for you. Still an excellent starter kit for the money.

This kit is super adorable, comes with the majority of the pieces to make 1 gallon of homemade wine!Downfall; the 1st stage fermenter was not air tight (YouTube video helped save the day), the yeast in the kit was dead, and the wine book for the coffee one that I chose wasnât clear and skipped steps… like adding in the yeast?
