Working great for espresso
It’s working just fine. I don’t have any comparison as this is my first hand grinder. I like the small size.Convenient to hand grind when camping or taking with for travel which I do often . Metal sturdy components and consistant grind.It is time consuming but a cheap alternative to some VERY expensive electric grinders.

Perfect if you like fine-ground coffee
Most of the coffee grinders are made of plastic – plus some ceramic. However, the grinding mechanism in this coffee grinder is made of metal, which makes it a much smoother when grinding beansMy one gripe, and why I didn’t give it 5 stars, is that even the coarsest setting is a little too fine for me. I like to use this grinder when I’m using the grounds for my moka pot, but otherwise, I wish that it could grind beans a little more coarse

Great from the power goes out or camping!
This feels of good quality, the threads are very good. It definitely takes a lot of cranking too make enough for a pot of coffee, but I cannot deny that the grind is quite uniform and it smells great while you’re doing it 🙂

Solid construction, good feel, and uniform grinding
This coffee grinder has a hopper and ground-coffee holder big enough for two 12-oz cups of coffee.Look and feel is excellent — Very heavy and solid, with textured metal so you can grip it easily while grinding. The grinder is very smooth and easy to turn.Grind is set by unscrewing the ground coffee holder, turning the grinder part upside down with the handle attached, and turning a knob on the bottom of the grinder while older holding the handle still. This is a little tricky and messy, so I advise doing it over a paper towel or the kitchen sink.The instructions are misleading about grind settings. It states 20 settings and provides recommendations for grinds from espresso (very fine) to French press (coarse). However, the device itself only goes from 1-12. Still, each setting produces uniformly ground coffee. The finest and coarsest options are not as fine as you could get from a professional burr grinder, but they work well for everyday home use.Overall a very nice product, and an attractive addition to my counter.

Great for road trips
Didn’t expect it to be extremely high quality. Everything is metal or wood. It grinds the coffee easily and tastes great. It’s compact so we used it for our camping and road trips.
