SECOND TIME’S A CHARM – THE RE-ORDER WAS PERFECT
Starting with the positive: the mug appeared to be substantial, sturdy, and very well-made. The handle was a great size which made it very comfortable to hold. I was very impressed with it initially upon receipt. However, as I unscrewed the top to wash the mug, I realized that every time I screwed the top back on, the opening out of which you are to drink ended up over the handle, which would make it very awkward. All of my previous thermal mugs and even all of the pictures shown online show the lid with the opening to the side, which makes it much more practical in order to drink from it without necessitating all sorts of distortions. I will be returning this mug. I am very disappointed because the dimensions of this mug were perfect, and its overall construction was very impressive. I do intend to order out another mug in the hopes that this was a defective item, which, hopefully, will not be the case with the reorder. At this point, I would give this mug 3 stars.An update to this review: As previously stated, I did reorder the mug and just received it today, and, much to my delight, the lid, once fully tightened, ends up exactly where it should for drinking purposes — off to the side of the handle. I am so pleased that I took a chance on reordering in the hopes that this issue would not exist the second time around. Now, I am a very pleased customer.Months later, and I’m still thrilled with this purchase. Whenever I took my car in for servicing, I would always take my small thermos filled with coffee. The thermos never kept my coffee hot, but warm coffee is always better than no coffee. Well, I just checked and discovered that this mug actually holds more than my small thermos and also keeps my coffee hotter for a much longer period of time than my small thermos ever did. Another positive is that the lid is leak-proof so this mug can be taken anywhere, and it eliminates the need to go through numerous steps in order to enjoy a cup of coffee. With the thermos, I had to remove the cup from the thermos, then unscrew the inner cap, pour coffee from the thermos into the cup and then reverse all of the steps to close up the thermos — all of which requires so many components where the mug requires lifting the tab and drinking. I love, love, love this insulated mug. It goes with me everywhere.

It definitely keeps my coffee hot!!
I really like the look of this travel mug. It’s sturdy and kept my coffee hot for over 3 hours. It says it will keep it hot for 6 hours but I drank all of my coffee long before that point. It’s 24 ounces and that’s the perfect size for me. I’ve only used it once but I’m very happy with it so far. The lid was a challenge for me to get off and the hole on top was a challenge for me to get open. I think with continued use it will be a little easier.

The “new design” is excellent and long overdue!
I’ve owned several of these cups in the past, but they had a flaw that eventually affected every one with the “old” design.I originally began purchasing these because they performed so well with both cold and hot beverages. The selling point for me was that when properly sealed, the NEVER leaked. I could literally put coffee in my cup and throw it down in my laptop or lunch bag without fear of a wet mess! And it stayed hot all day!!!The new design has a fully integrated, metal handle that attaches to the body of the cup at at the top and bottom. Previously, it was a plastic handle, screwed into the cup only at the top. It was shaped like a “7” and open at the bottom. Also, the new lids now have two area of nubs which allow for a better grip for opening and removing the lid. This puts far less pressure on the handle. I suspect that I will no longer have handle that breaks off the cup.This is a superb cup at a great price. The new colors are great too! LOVE IT!

What I was looking for
I bought this to replace a Bubba that kept leaking. Hand washed it before first use. The top had a strong plastic smell, so bad that I had to take it off while I drank my coffee. I buried it in wet, used coffee grounds overnight, washed again, and plastic smell was gone. It keeps my coffee hot for at least 6 hours, I was surprised by this, because the wall is so thin. Flip top was extremely hard to open at first, but has loosened up. No matter where you start screwing on the lid, the drinking hole is to the left of the handle, so this is made for right-handed people. I am right-handed but I drink my coffee with my left hand, making the handle not useful for me, which is kind of a bummer because the handle is so nice. I didn’t have a handle at all on my old Bubba, so its not a big deal. The white finish is beautiful, and I love the 24oz capacity. One improvement that would be nice is if there was some kind of rubber on the bottom, but again, not a deal breaker. Final opinion is that this is definitely a keeper!*Edit* I’ve had this about 6 months and still love it, I use it every day. One tip I have is that if you find it difficult to unscrew the lid, try flipping up the sipper thing and then unscrew it. Also I’ve found if you start screwing the lid on with the hole a little to the left of where you want it, then it will stop in the perfect spot. Wow I never realized there was so much to say about a coffee mug!!

This is the best cup ever it keeps drinks warm good. Easy to carry around and fits my car holder.

This mug is great, nice sturdy handle and the shape is forgiving for car drink holders especially in the center console. I got this for work and it works well.
