Happy Wife, Happy Life!
OK, we originally bought the 3 pack (25oz each) version of this and unfortunately the seal on one was not airtight, and that was our goal. OK. That’s why we buy here. The return was simple, as always, and the refund was immediate.The wife liked them so much though she said “return/reorder. At the same time, I like to store enough grounds for about two weeks at a time, for max freshness. I felt like even though I could easily store a brick of ground espresso in one of them, I would want to keep the others out too. Then I would have to play the shell game to make coffee at 0700 before walking the dogs. So I rethought the “reorder”. I wanted something singular, and larger I could almost use with my eyes closed half asleep.Size – As you can see in relation to standard sized coffee mugs, it appears small. It’s not. This jar could probably hold 4 bricks of ground espresso, but it wouldbe tight. They’re deceiving. Again, I’m only putting 2 in it. As you can see though, I’m also keeping a OXO brand 1/3 measuring cup in there (2/3c for a 55oz pot of drip CafÃ© Bustelo), and because the lid is domed and hollow the spoon handle fits up in there without having to bury it too deep. For me, less mess. Leveling a spoonful is easy.So it holds a lot but doesn’t eat up a lot of counter space. Win!Freshness – The seal is completely air tight. We also found that following the instructions, and turning the lid while pushing down helps with that. Just a bit, you don’t need to “screw” it down. Win!Durability – Do not drop this on your bare foot or your going to need medical attention. lol This is really thick, real ceramic, and it’s painted and glazed. If your counters are delicate, add silicone feet buttons. It’s not too heavy for use though, just real. Since the lid is pressed down with a silicone seal, there’s no chance of chipping around the opening. I tested lifting it with 29oz of ground and that spoon, by the lid handle. I held it a 1/4″ off the counter, and it held. I would not use the lid to lift this for any reason full or empty. Too dangerous, and glass is our house is like the plague since we have dogs. So, durability? Win!Color – We’re eclectic, but traditional, and we like blue. The blue to dark fade is perfectly uniform. No blisters in the glazing. No paint speckles. The “look” is what wowed us. It’s why I tried again, and so happy I did. Hey, is everything perfect perfect anymore? Without paying an arm and a leg? Win!Pattern – I think a vertical pattern can be classic and modern at the same time, so it works anywhere. The relief is enough but not overdone. Again, we really like the look. We have a light bluegrey-ish valance over the window. So the deep blue of this balances it out. Especially with all the SS. Win!Price – All the above makes this a easy to appreciate purchase. It was triple boxed and Amazon was quick and gentle. I am so impressed and pleased, I will be looking at other products from this vendor. Easy Win!Other Uses – Anything from dry goods to liquids I suppose since it has an airtight seal. I would even go so far as saying that with the proper traditional container preparation (food safety) you could make kimchi in this! But also your Holiday cookies.No stuff, this is a 5 star item. Oh, honest unpaid review. And as the title says, my life is ð.Rob

Beautiful, seals tightly and many colors to choose from.
Love this canister. Seals and keeps things fresh. Color is beautiful and there are so many choices that itâll fit any decor.My only complaint is that it only comes in two sizes and I would really like a third but I canât seem to find a smaller one that matches.

Holds 12 oz
I thought from the description this was going to be larger, but it exactly holds a 12 oz bag of ground coffee. I love the colors.There are some small flaws in the paint and ceramic, so I keep that side toward the wall.

Great for bathroom storage !!
I bought this for my bathroom. Cotton balls storage and Q-Tips on the other one. Great set and the color and quality is really cool !
