From the original creators of V60, a very compelling kit
After buying a Hario syphon, and experimenting with some random V60 copycats (I’m looking at you Melitta), I decided to jump in and try the original V60 by their creators. The flask is very well done, made of great and clean glass, as expected from Hario. The inclusion of a carafe cap is a nice touch. The paper filters are also very clean, and they don’t add any smells to the brewing process. The spoon is convenient, but since I weight my coffee to the gram, I didn’t have much use for it.The quality of the actual V60 filter holder is great, made of heavy heat resistant plastic, well molded and all, but looking at the pictures you might be led to thinking that it is also made of glass. Now, it makes sense it is made of plastic, since glass absorbs (and radiates) heat pretty well, so it would be a little difficult to handle it without getting burned.Compared to the other V60 copycats, brewing is fast enough to produce a coffee cup in less time than the others. It might not be the force push of an Aeropress, but it is considerable time less than the Melitta copycat.Though the taste is pretty similar, the aroma is a little different, with an unusual sweetness rather than acridness. That might be related to the paper filters included in the kit.My recommendation for prospective buyers would be to also buy a goose neck teapot, to aid with the pour over process, since it is more precise that just a regular spout. Finally, congratulations Amazon for the dedication and carefulness on shipping this delicate object over my country. It was incredibly well packed, with good padding all over.

Awesome V60 Pour Over Set
Before purchasing a pour over, you must first understand there’s a bit of an art to using a pour over. If you’re not patient and precise, this not the brewing method for you. However, if you are interested in pour overs, this is a great set, whether you’re a beginner or experienced. It’s very affordable, yet just as capable as any other V60 pour over. The first thing that maybe is off-putting about this product is that the actual pour over device is plastic. But, it’s a sturdy, quality plastic body. It does the job fine. I can’t imagine a glass, ceramic, or metal V60 produces noticeably better coffee because of the material. It’s easy to clean and less concern of it breaking it it drops. The pot that comes with it is a nice accessory if you don’t have something like it already. It’s also good if you’re trying to make more than one cup – though I don’t think you could make more than 2 -2 1/2 cups. However, the pot provides absolutely no insulation. You should make your coffee and serve immediately – and considering this is for a pour over, that’s probably your intention already. The only downside is you need to use paper filters (it comes with a pack). There are pour over options that have metal or otherwise reuseable filters. This is a personal preference, though. The real question – Does it make a good cup? Yes. It will take a little practice with the pour over process, but you’ll make a very enjoyable cup.

Outstanding Value and High Quality
TL;DR — This Hario “Craft” edition V60 pour-over starter kit is an outstanding value! All you need to bring is your favorite coffee and some near-boiling water. Everything else is in the box. The fit and finish of each kit item is excellent. As an added bonus, each component is labeled as being Made in Japan. As a longtime Chemex user, it seemed like it was about time to try brewing with the V60. They are similar, yet different. The Chemex filters are larger and of a thicker material (and call for a more coarsely-ground coffee). Meanwhile, the Hario V60 filters are smaller and of a lighter material (and call for a finer grind). Some folks have noticed that the V60 method really brings out the subtle flavors of a coffee.Overall, both methods complement each other very well. The Chemex is nice for a larger pot of java, whereas the V60 seems more suited to a quick individual cup or two. The V60 would also be much easier to travel with, as you’d only need the dripper and a handful of filters.Honestly… with just this Craft V60 kit, a good kettle, and a quality burr grinder you’d be set for life.

Where have you been all my life?
Just like the Hario Tea Brewer, it’s a bit pricey, but it’s well worth the money after you use it a few times. It makes a great cup of coffee with precision and consistency. It is another item I didn’t think I needed but was very glad I purchased.

Careful placing it down
Great product! However the glass is fragile! Mine already cracked from just placing it on the surface. I wish It had a rubber bottom or something to break the landing!

Fiquei mto satisfeita!

I couldn’t be happier with my decision! This coffee maker is an absolute game-changer for anyone who appreciates a well-brewed cup of coffee.**Design & Build Quality:**The sleek black design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also feels sturdy and durable. The glass server is high-quality, allowing me to see the beautiful brew as it develops. The included scoop makes measuring the perfect amount of coffee a breeze, and I love that it comes with filters that fit perfectly.**Ease of Use:**Brewing with the Hario is straightforward. The dripper allows for precise control over the water flow, which is essential for achieving that perfect extraction. I appreciate the size 02, as itâs perfect for brewing multiple cups at once without feeling overwhelming.**Taste:**The flavor profile of the coffee Iâve made with this set is rich and vibrant, highlighting the unique notes of each coffee bean Iâve used. Iâve tried various beans, and each brew has consistently delivered a delightful cup.**Cleanup:**Cleaning is a cinch. The glass server and dripper can be easily rinsed or placed in the dishwasher, and the filters catch all the grounds without any mess.Overall, the Hario Vcnd-02B Set has elevated my coffee brewing experience to new heights. If you’re serious about coffee, this is a must-have for your kitchen. Highly recommend!

Perfect kit for me as i have no space for a brewing machine and i already have a water heater for my tea so it felt natural to go for this. Coffee tastes amazing and i appreciate it more since it takes a little more effort. But it is still easy and fun even!
