I’ve only used it on wood, so far, as I haven’t had it long_ Worked like a champ_ Nice looking tool also_ This tool missed a 5â Rating from me because……Mine didn’t come with a backing pad so I made a run to the Hardware store to pick one up_ I feel it should have came with one_ A hardshell plastic case would’ve been nice too, and the Spanner Wrench was crap, IMO, so I ordered another one from Amazon_ I guess to keep cost low & competitive they cut out a good ‘Kit’ pkg, but the tool itself is great

Seems study and good torque for grinding
Used this to cut all a bad section of exhaust on a 1988 International S1654LP, 26ft box truck. Several cuts and it worked well. Also ground off a bunch of bolt heads because the bolts were too rusted to remove the nuts. This has been a good grinder so far

One Month – Failed Bearing
I bought two of these a month ago. I really like the grinder, with its easy-to-use paddle switch, in-handle tool storage, and light weight, but one of them has already died on me. The bearing at the rear of the motor exploded. It seems like there was very little, if any grease in it. The bearing seems to be pressed onto the shaft, so there is no easy way to replace it (I have replaced bearings in other grinders to get them going again).So disappointing, because this is a great grinder overall. I may update the rating if the other grinder lasts.Also, the grinding wheels that they come with them are horribly off balance. I used one for a few seconds and it was hand-numbing. I don’t think that was the grinder that the bearing failed in, though an off-balance wheel could certainly lead to early bearing failures.

It is a solid heavy piece of machine made in USA. The only thing I don’t like is trigger made out of plastic not durable.Reasonable price.

my angle grinder of 20 years finally gave out on me and i grabbed this one up the weight is decent 3 handle positions 3 grinding discs and the on off switch is so easy no more fumbling with a touchy on off switch well worth the money
