This pour-over glass cone with the bamboo base is wonderful! I switched to glass because of the plastics concern. The interior of this device is beveled nicely with a swirl pattern, so the liquid flows freely throughout. And, even though it is made of glass, itâs very sturdy and resistant to chips, dings and cracks.It has a very beautiful design as well. It is elegant in its simplicity and function. The cone, itself, is detachable from the base for ease in cleanup.I highly recommend this device for brewing 1 to 4 cups of coffee. When buying the paper filters for it, be sure not to get the kind that are squared off on the bottom. Theyâll work, but since this is an open-hole design at the bottom of this glass cone, you will be better off purchasing filters that match it exactly.And, if I didnât know any better, I would say that my coffee definitely tastes better these days!

Iâve had it for about a couple months now. It threw me off when I first got it because the handle of it is definitely not gold. Itâs a see through brownish glass handle. But itâs super cute in my coffee area and definitely works like it needs to. I knew when I got it it would be super breakable because its thin glass, so just be careful and extra cautious handling it or putting in sink. Would recommend buying this product!

Nice quality materials, good function
This exceeded my expectations. The materials feel nice to the touch and seem durable. The funnel and the holding disc fit together nicely.The funnel works as expected with a filter. I am using the 02 hario cone filters to good effect.The pour over setup fits nicely over my existing French press carafe which was an important consideration for my use case.

filters frequntly break using this
The design of this cone includes a rather large hole at the bottom. Almost every other filter I use to make coffee breaks and the grounds and water spill through. I use flat bottom Melita type filters. Perhaps another filter would hold up better but based on my experience I would not recommend this cone.

1″ diameter drain hole opening, but works
I ordered this because I have a years old (probably long before we even heard of BPA) Melita pour over filter/well. Many of the reviews for the porcelain filters mentioned small base, so unsteady balance over the cup, or fragility. Even tho there were not many reviews for this product, I decided to try it.pros–attractive, wide base for securely resting on the mug.cons–the drain hole is surprising large: 1″ in diameter. The glass is grooved and swirled to slow down the flow, but still drains faster than my Melita, with a much much smaller drain hole. I don’t know how much difference that makes. For me at 80 years old, with diminished taste, it works fine. For someone looking to savor the more subtle flavors of their gourmet coffee, this may not be the best option. It is designed to take the #2 paper filter. I use the number 4 and it sticks up above the lip. I don’t care as I prefer the larger one to avoid grounds overflow into my coffee.Not sure I’ll keep this. I’m not that picky anynore, just want to avoid plastic containers wherever I can.
