Exactly as described and super sturdy. Left one on the counter full of water and 24 hrs later no leaks. Iâll also use these for starting melons and other seeds sensitive to transplanting (I cut out the bottom and place entire cup in the ground) and I expect them to decompose during the summer. There is a very thin coating of something on inside- I assume it is PLA plastic which is theoretically compostable but many âcompostableâ products require commercial rather than home composting so weâll see how that goes.

Good for short term use
Used the cups for an office party – cold brew and iced tea. I wouldn’t recommend keeping iced drinks in the cups for too long (e.g. over 2 hours). Found after a couple of hours with my iced coffee left in it, the durability strength went down. For water (no ice) it was fine. Overall it was good. I would purchase again for the office.
