Factory Stress –
It a good little cup
Bought it to check it out. Seems to be a popular little item so I bit and picked one up. Got the wife using it everyday and everywhere. Every morning coffee at home and at camp. She likes and uses it, so enough said.Sooooo….. Itâs lightweight, the lid goes on tight (make sure itâs on all the way!). Keeps her coffee nice and toasty for as long as it takes to drink it, (Make sure the sip lid is shut tight). The measurement lines are nice for measuring out water for making our oatmeal and our MIBs (Meals In Bags)…. The handle pretty much sucks as a handle (way too floppy) to hold while taking a swig. If she had a big hand in a thick glove, the handle would probably be worth a damn. We pretty much just use it to hang dry clipped to her pack. Hereâs how we use the handle: we just slide our fingers through the handle and grip the cup with our hand. The handle then grips snug around our hands, problem solved. The blue matches perfectly with my (former) business logo color, sweet. The build is sturdy, stitching is good (havenât found extra loose threads), lid fits snug, the sip hole cover snaps down snug and doesnât leak (even when accidentally knocked over), the sip hole cover snaps back hard and locks into the lid for drinking & itâs just the right size.If I wasnât faithful to my canteen cup that Iâve used for the past 29 years, Iâd pick one up for myself.Overall, itâs a good little cup. Pick one up.

Great backpacking coffee cup
After reading reviews from a plethora of backpackers, almost all pointed to this mug as the best value backpacking mug, so I thought I’d give it a try. It is very lightweight which is important to me. The koozie means the cup isn’t too hot to hold. The spill-proof lid is actually spill-proof. I turned my cup of hot coffee upside down to test this and not a drop spilled. It also won’t burn your lips like a metal mug will do. I like to mix coffee with hot chocolate and the lid allows me to just shake all the ingredients together without worry of a mess. I also like that the inserted mug is also a measuring cup with more detail than my backpacking stove. Hence, this mug also makes cooking easier. The handle is floppy fabric. This may seem like a negative quality, but I don’t think so. It still provides security when I slide my hand through it to hold the mug without adding real weight or bulkiness. I would NOT recommend using it to clip your mug to the outside of the pack. That will only secure the koozie and not the mug. You could risk the mug sliding out of the koozie to your dismay when you arrive at camp sans cup. That would be very sad. So, I toss it in my pack. While in my pack, it serves as a the case that holds my headlamp.I am very happy to have purchased this as my backpacking mug. In truth, I like to bring it with me on all my travels.

Great 17oz mug, even for small hands!
I really like this mug. It’s light and easy to clean. The insulated cozy does a pretty good job of keeping my coffee warm, and I really like the flexible handle. One thing I will note is that I drink out of it with my whole hand through the handle, gripping the mug itself. I have very small hands, so the handle actually allows me to hold the cup comfortably without worrying that I’ll lose my grip on it.The lid seals surprisingly well for a non-screw on lid. I have to make sure the drinking tab is open when I put the lid on with the mug full of hot coffee because otherwise the air pressure won’t let me put it on all the way. I’ve done some trials of turning it upside down full of hot coffee and not a drop of leakage!I’ve noticed that when I first got it, the cup sat very, very snugly in the cozy, but over a few weeks of use it’s loosened up. One reviewer said that they clipped it onto the outside of their pack and then the cup fell out and they lost it, and I agree that that is a danger. I think I’m going to add a bit of nylon webbing with a patch of velcro on either end to loop over the lid, so that I can clip it to the outside of my pack without worries. However, it also fits perfectly in the side water bottle pockets of both of my packs… so maybe it’ll just live there.Love how much liquid it holds and it looks cool. Also, the plastic of the mug itself doesn’t seem to take on the smell of what was in it, which I really appreciate.

Fantastic backpacking mug, wish the measurement markers were more resilient.
I wanted a mug I could keep at my desk at work without being afraid of dropping and breaking it, that’d be easy to clean and would keep my coffee warm a little longer than a standard ceramic mug, and then bring home on the weekends for some backpacking. This mug exceeds expectations! It weights nothing, has the backpacker aesthetic I was looking for, and keeps my drinks warmer longer (as noted, it’s NOT an insulated mug. But for the weight I’d argue you can’t get much better). I haven’t tried backpacking with it yet, but it seems well suited for backcountry use.My only complaint is that after two weeks of heavy use (2-3 hot drinks a day, taking it out of the sleeve after each one to rinse out), the measurement indicators are starting to smudge off of the cup onto the inside of the sleeve. Honestly, I don’t even think this deserves a whole star off, but I can’t do partial stars. 4.9 out of 5!

But this is definitely green. Otherwise looks like a solid cup. Looking forward to use it.

Le fabriquant n’a pas prévu un rebord sur lequel poser les lèvres. Du coup il est difficile de ne pas boire avec un bout du tissu isolant dans la bouche. A part ça la qualité est excellent.
