Pretty good
I like the flavor of this coffee. It isn’t my favorite blend I’ve tried, but it’s pretty good. It reminds me of rainforest blends, but instead of the acidity climbing, it has a blunted end to the taste. It seems like a true medium roast. If you like coffee that is slightly acidic, this might be for you. I don’t taste cola and raisin like it says. I don’t find it sweet like cola or raisins are. I suppose there is a bluntness in some colas that could mimic the backend of the flavor. I like that it claims that it is organic and looks out for social welfare. I did not look into these claims for validity, so if it’s really important to you then you should double check.I would recommend this if you prefer medium roasts that aren’t too acidic, and do not have a flavor other than coffee.

Great Robust Medium Roast Coffee, Delightful Blend
Pretty pleased with this blend, it provides beans roasted to a beautiful matte shine that grinds into a robust coffee with good mouthfeel, offering flavorful notes of milk chocolate and apple.It comes in a pretty and eco-friendly packaging that has simplistic designs evoking a more eco-friendly ethos. The beans offer a simple but robust flavor that can be prepared through a variety of methods, many of which they provide additional grind size recommendations, which is super lovely to see on boutique products like this. I tried it on my hario and my aeropress to excellent results, though I especially love it as well for espresso since it makes fantastic crema and really emphasizes a richer cocoa taste.Great coffee and I especially like how their mission and branding is on point based on the entirety of the product design. Gotta love it!

Smells and tastes amazing
Divine taste and smell. Beans are definitely high quality but would be great if they had testing for mold etc.

Best aroma yet
I am not a coffee perfectionist, but I enjoy a few cups every morning. I used to think I was more of a blonde roast girly, but as I get older, I find that I love a good strong dark roast with a splash of a flavored creamer. What gets me most excited is the smell of the coffee. To me there is nothing more comfortable than starting the day with the smell of coffee brewing. Now, I have a very fancy Bosch coffee maker that grinds the beans needed for my cuppa. These beans are very dark in color and strongly aromatic out of the bag. The grinding releases even more of that scent and you would think I have coffee scented candles burning throughout the house when this is brewing. Thankfully, the taste is good too. Not my favorite in the taste category, but works well as a morning cuppa to get you going. Using the splash of creamer takes away some of the bitterness of the dark roast but this is a good strong cup of coffee in the am.

Chocolatey taste
I’m pretty excited that I’m able to judge coffee now and actually pick up on a lot of notes. Not long ago, I was a complete beginner and couldn’t taste anything but bitterness.Anyway, in my non expert and still very noobish opinion, this coffee was pretty okay. I have only used it in the french press, and usually when I review coffee I try it in cold brew, espresso, and the french press. However, I have noticed that cold brew doesn’t bring out all the flavors, and espresso also hides some of the flavors but sometimes brings out bitters or sours. Overall, I just think that french press brings the best taste. I’m able to taste a wider range of notes and the coffee is definitely smoother.For this coffee, I tasted a deep chocolate flavor. It was pretty much all I tasted. I was hoping to find the hint of apple somewhere but just haven’t been able to yet and in my limited experience, I’m probably not going to find that in espresso. I’m going to mess around with the grind and maybe I’ll be able to pull it out a bit.So far, I would say this is a fine coffee. The taste is pretty smooth. It isn’t my favorite. I wish I could rate out of 10. I would probably give it like a 7, so in a 5 star rating system I feel like I’m underrating if I give it a 3, and overrating if I give a 4.

Delicious
I discovered Groundworks coffee a couple of years ago. I like dark coffee. I have enjoyed both B*tch’s Brew and Midnight flavors. Midnight is a little smoother, and I sometimes mix it with Kickstart decaf for a less potent beverage with a great flavor.
