Perfect in every way !
I love that this is glass , stainless steel and bamboo! No plastic in sight! I wanted to ditch my black plastic coffee maker . This is my first French press and it works perfectly!!! The coffee actually tastes better !! IT kept the coffee hot while I made , no grounds slipped past . It’s excellent! Highly recommend!! And that this purchase pays it forward to help people is icing on the cake ! Would perches as gift ,just quality, I love it

very nice little french press
very cute little french press that I got for us to use in case of power outages that happen frequently around here. Our whole house is electrical so when the power is out, there’s no way to make a cup of coffee. This french press is perfect for those instances. It’s also fantastic for straining tinctures and such, but that’s a whole other story. This french press works flawlessly and is very warm and visually appealing. It makes an impressive amount of coffee, but at the same time is very compact and doesn’t take up too much space. Quality wise it’s pretty great and should serve us for quite a while. So far, we really like it.

Gorgeous sustainable press
I love the message behind this press. For every one purchased the company donates water to village’s in need across the world.The press has a nice bamboo lid and press, with a metal screen and stamper. The outside bottom has a removable cover so that the glass bottom doesnt shatter. This made a mean cup of coffee!So, ive read a lot of the negative reviews and i am taking note of all of them. So far, i have not had any issues with breakage, or splitting of anything. I will come back to update if anything happens.

Good quality glass, threads not so much.
This is the second one I had to order. The first one arrived and the threads attaching the filter to the shaft of the press were loose and would fall out when you tried to remove the filter for cleaning. Other than that, it works as intended, cleans easily, and looks very clean on the counter.

After breaking the glass on the last 3 French Presses I have owned, I decided to do a bit more research before buying my next one. I wanted something more durable and higher quality, which is why I decided to order the Melbourne. I contemplated buying a metal French Press for a while, but they don’t look as good, can get dents, and let’s face it, are not as fun because you don’t get to see your coffee sit there. Anyways, the product came in a nice package which tells the story of Grosche’s founders and their project for providing safe water (never thought I could contribute to society by purchasing a French Press). The product itself has been great so far, the glass is thicker than any of my previous French Presses, so I don’t have to worry as much washing it, and the coffee tastes just as good (wish I was a coffee connoisseur so I could tell any difference).

I was impressed by the quality of this french press. Actually I bought a travel mug earlier from this brand and was happy with it and it worked pretty could even after several months. The glass of this french press is sturdy and the bamboo gives you a friendly feeling. It is easy to work with and keep the water warm for 15 minutes, which is ideal for making your favorite herbal tea. You see in pictures it has wide opening which makes it easy to clean.

Got this glass french press as a replacement to my old one that didnt filter coffee grains well due to deforming mesh. This coffee/tea press doesnt take much space in the kitchen yet its 1000ml! Very stylish with bamboo top and cork bottom and its easy to use as well as cleaning. I personally just rinse it after each use and its like a new one. Filters coffee grains really good. I love this product also for the fact that this company donates with every sale to poor countrie, providing them with purified water for over 50 days. Would definetely recomend it to other.

I used it for one round of coffee in my camper. The top was very cheap and fit terribly on the glass. Later on it fell onto a pillow and shattered into a 100 pieces. Glass everywhere. Iâve never seen something shatter so easily. These guys just use a sob story to sell you complete junk.

Love this french press! I love that I don’t need to put a coaster under it on my brand new counter top and the cork bottom is really easy to remove for cleaning. Also, the press foes a really good job and doesn’t let any grinds thorough. Very very happy with this item!
