Better than Bodum original
Great replacement for our large (12cup/1500ml) French Press Beaker. I’d previously purchased a GROSCHE replacement for our smaller Bodum french press and that’s lasted longer than the original. Fits fine in our original hardware and I like the slightly larger pouring spout. Even better to learn that Grosche is a progressive company with benevolent hearts. They created the Grosche Safe Water Project that helps people have access to clean water. “Every Grosche product sole provides 50+ days of safe drinking water for people in need.” I like to spend my money with companies that look after more than just their bottom line. And not for nothing, the product is fairly priced and made of quality materials.

Good quality – Product Dimension Incorrect
Good quality and price.1500 ml is slightly smaller outer diameter than original Bodum but works fine. I bent the metal holding cage inward slightly to increase the grip on the glass.There is an incorrect dimensional in the product description. What is listed as “5 & 11/16th inches” is presumably a typo that should have read “4 & 11/16th inches”. Also note that is the outer diameter at the upper lip which is slightly larger than the main part of the glass which fits into the metal cage. On main part of the glass I measure 4.57 inch outer diameter. Total height is 7 inches.

Exact Replacement Glass for Grosche Madrid French Press 1.5L
This replacement beaker was exactly the same as the original that came with the Grosche Madrid French Press Coffee and Tea Maker 1.5L I purchased 10 months ago. It fits exactly as the original beaker with all the same markings. The Madrid press fits just as well as the original beaker.However, I believe both the original and replacement beakers say “dishwasher safe.” I would recommend hand washing only. I put the original beaker in the dishwasher occasionally and it finally broke on a corner. Although the glass appears tempered, I suspect the dishwasher “heated drying” is what caused the beaker to break.Overall I am very happy with the Grosche French Press and beaker. It works better than other french presses I have tried.

Si désespérés vous vous retrouvez,Perdu sans votre café préféré;Car votre carafe vous aura lâché…Désespérés, de trouver un verre de rechange sans vous ruiner…Alors n’hésitez plus, cette référence est là pour vous sauver !J’avais un peu peur que le verre ne tienne pas bien dans le cerclage en métal de ma “Bodum Chambord 1,5L”…Même en ouvrant le colis, je n’étais pas certaine des dimensions…Mais non, c’est parfait ! Et pour le moment, elle tient plus longtemps que la carafe d’origine ! (Qui a cassé, alors qu’il n’y n’avait pas de quoi…défaut de fabrication sur la série que je m’étais procuré ? Possible..)Juste un petit “défaut” que je peux reprocher à cet article : le bec verseur est complètement droit, ce qui fait que parfois le café déborde par là ^^;C’est un peu dommage, mais bon…on s’y fait ! Il faut prendre l’habitude de mettre quelques millilitres de moins que dans l’originale :)Pour le prix…je n’enlève même pas une étoile à cause de ça !Ce que je fais pour ne jamais verser trop d’eau : je garde une bouteille de 1,5L (une bouteille d’eau minérale que je remplis ensuite d’eau filtrée) pour faire le café et avoir toujours la même quantité d’eau…De cette manière, je me fais moins avoir par le bec verseur droit ;)â Si je vous ai été d’une quelconque utilité, je vous remercie d’avoir cliqué 😉 â
