Looks nice and almost as advertised
This is a pretty heavy set and make sense since it is automatic and has built in battery. The one thing that is not mentioned is that you do need to push a button to turn on before the tilt feature will work. I thought it was always ready to be activated when you tilt it. Not the case. After you turn it on, and leave it alone for about 2 minutes, it automatically turns off. So, the next time you go to use it, you need to turn it on again. Not a big deal but they should be clearer about that feature.The auto griding with the tilt happens just as you pass the 180 degree/horizontal mark. Basically, if you lay it down flat on the side, it will not turn on, but lift the bottom up slightly, it will start to grind. I found this to be a bit cumbersome. You have to aim your tilt properly so that you donât miss. I found it easier to simply have it tilted already and then push the button to turn on and start and stop the grinding. You can also tilt it back upright to have it stop grinding. Thus, making this feature less useful.I made the mistake of washing the bottom container parts. Water got in between the plastic holder and the metal casing around it. I used a hair dryer to get most of the water out and let it air dry for several days. Luckily it all did dry out and I did not see any signs of rusting. Turned out OK and lesson learned!I jumped the gun and got this because of that tilt only feature. Now that I think about it, I would have preferred one that either ground from the bottom or one that had a lid/closure on the top. I do like that it is automatic and that it has a light that shines your food as you grind. Seems to grind pretty good. I like that I can grind the salt to almost like powder. I donât really like that the particles seem to stick to the walls of the grinding area making it look messy and dirty. Not sure if it is static electricity that is making it stick or what.

Great Purchase!
Wasn’t sure if I was really going to like these, but I LOVE them! The light is really nice, especially when using the fine setting. It is easy to change the coarseness of the grind and goes from basically a fine powder to a chunkier setting. The windows allow you to see, not only what you are using, but also when it starts to get low and needs to be refilled. I love that they don’t just go off when tipped over, thanks to the auto-off feature (much appreciated, since my cat is an a-hole who thinks the counters are his stomping ground when we’re not watching). I have been using them regularly for over a month and I haven’t even had to charge them yet. Great deal for the money, as I have seen comparable grinders going for $75.

Love these grinders
I have wanted to try automatic salt and pepper shakers for a few years, ever since seeing similar models on cooking channels and social media. I held off because I thought possibly they were a bit gimmicky and wouldnât work as well they seemed. I thought âAfter all, how difficult is it just to manually crank a grinder?â I finally decided to see what the fuss was about and ordered these. I am so glad I did! Iâve had them for a few weeks and love to cook with them. They are easier to use and faster than the traditional. I also love their aesthetic in my stainless steel kitchen. The color matches perfectly with my appliances. These are a bit hefty, but not heavy. They feel quality built. At first, I didnât like that the grind on the pepper was a bit too large for my taste but eventually I figured out that you can change it by twisting the bottom piece. Iâm not one to read directions unless absolutely necessary so thatâs on me. Once I changed it to a finer setting, I was so much happier. However, I recently tried a recipe that called for coarsely ground pepper and was pleased that I could instantly get that result now that I knew the secret! Iâve used these for a few weeks now, and they are still going on their first initial charge. I highly recommend them and would give them 10 stars if I could!

Fantastic features! Worth it! Great gift idea
This grinder set from Urban Noon looks striking and elegant. It is very stylish and unique. I donât recall seeing one that looks like this set. I love that it charges via a USB-C (included) instead of disposable batteries or rechargeable batteries. I love that the knob to adjust the fineness of the grind is directly on top of the grinder and is large enough to easily adjust it. I do not like that the promotion page states that you do not have to push any buttons to activate the grinding function. That is a little misleading. You do have to push the button above the charging port to activate it. HOWEVER, once you activate it all you need to do is tilt it to activate the gravity grinding function and the light. The beauty of the design is that when you flip it again the gravity function stops the grinding. NOW you can pass it to the next person and a they have too do is flip it over to restart the grinding function and the light. This can continue until each person at the table has taken a turn without anyone else touching the button. This grinder is designed to shut off automatically after three minutes of inactivity and the power light will go out signaling that it has powered off. How great is that? I like the wide mouth of the chamber and how easy it is to refill it. There is a window that allows us to see how much salt or pepper (or whatever) is in it. This is a well made and well designed set, with great features, it is stylish, rechargeable, and comes in a beautiful gift box. Order this, you will not regret it!
