Cold Brew As Easy as 1… 2… 3
I LOVE Cold Brew( one may even call it an addiction). In fact, I order Starbucks cold brew even during the dead of winter. It came to the point where I was spending a too much on Starbucks everyday, so I decided to purchase a cold brew machine. This little machine is basically perfect. It makes making a delicious cold brew as easy as the push of a button. I like that I am not limited to just using pods, and can buy any ground coffee flavor I like, therefore maximizing my options.Although we already have a keruig machine, this is undoubtedly is a good addition to our house. The coffee tastes way less watered down and is simple, easy and quick to use. The investment on this machine was absloutley worth it.

    Literally does NOT work!
This coffee pot lasted ONE brew. ONE. The concept is great, IF IT WORKED. So this product works by compression..what that mean is this, you fill up the coffee filter with A LOT of coffee & insert it into the water chamber part of the machine and lock it into place (IT HAS TO BE IN THE LOCKED POSITION TO WORK…or so it says), you then fill up the water chamber with your desired amount of water (which by the way this machine DOES NOT hold or make the amount of cups it claims to!!) that they say needs to be at “room temperature”. After this you follow a couple more steps to make sure everything is correct and locked into place and then it starts to do its thing (the compression process).Used it the first day and it worked fine. My only complaints was that you get a good bit of coffee grinds in your coffee, and it doesn’t brew as many cups as it claims.Day 2. It malfunctioned or whatever you even want to call it. When it started to go through it’s “compression” cycle, it kept knocking the coffee filter mechanism out of its locked position which caused the filter to FLOAT inside the container which DID NOT allow for the coffee to be brewed properly. My coffee day one looked like fresh brewed coffee on the mild setting, day two it looked like DIRTY WATER. I tried running it through twice and both times the machine failed to do what it’s designed to do & AGAIN knocked the filter out of its locked position.A few other things about this machine is that the coffee pot it comes with is so FRAGILE. I was worried about bumping it the slightest bit while rinsing it due to how thin the glass is.Given the price for this thing, I had high hopes and it failed miserably.I ended up ordering a Cuisinart that’s LESS expensive and it’s AMAZING. Flavor is there, process is so simple, AND it’s way easier to use than this machine. It also takes A LOT less coffee and it makes the amount of cups it claims to make!

A new gadget (at least to me) so it’s a must have.
I marked one of the stars a “1” because it wanted to know about the “warmth.” What’s with that? this is a cold brew coffee maker so it should not be “warmth.” Hmmm, maybe I should change it to a 5 because it is not “warmth.” That’s probably what they meant.I got this not just because I kind of like iced coffee on a hot day, but to replicate, if I can McDuck’s or Burger King’s frappe”. I like those so making them at home sounds like fun.My first attempt was a total fail. Recipes are very simple: Mix a cup of chocolate milk (I used Almond Chocolate milk because — why not? with ice cubes created from freezing coffee from this thing, a little vanilla, sugar maybe, and a straw. The coffee maker worked great! It has settings buttons to push for “light,” “medium,,” “strong” and “concentrate” And if that’s not enough it has arrows that increase or decrease the brew strength. It takes about 14 minutes to come up with a pitcher full of “concentrate” and about 2+ minutes for a pot of “light.”It’s very simple to use, and quite intuitive as to how to use it,, which is good because the instructions aren’t that great. But, my first “frappe” was a total fail. The recipes all suggest freezing the coffee into ice cubes, then mixing it with the other ingredients and blend the heck out of it until it’s thick and creamy.I didn”t freeze my coffee the first time because I had just sent my wife to the store to purchase some crushed ice,, and I didn’t want to disappoint her by not using it. So I just dumped a bunch of ice cubes in the blender and dumped the coffee on top of it. The problem was my blender is a food processor and when all that liquid got to flying around the kitchen my wife said some very unkind things to me.So get one of these contraptions, and by all means freeze your coffee before you subject it to unreasonable pressures and I think you’ll be fine. I’ll know later today when i try again….and even if it never works it’s a great find,, because it’s something new to put on your countertop.

    Does the job but…
It generally does a good job making coffee but if you do 2-3 batches back to back the flavor and intensity is not consistent. I make a pot that will last a few days. The worst thing I don’t like is the noise. It is SO loud that with working from home I need to brew it outside so we can hear ourselves so that kind of defeats the purpose of doing a quick cup or batch. Overall I think it’s a little pricey for what you get.

    LOUD
It’s a great system and is easy to use. Not bad capacity, about 25oz for a full carafe; but I think everyone is just used to oversized everything. My main gripe with this is the NOISE. IT IS SO LOUD. You can’t run this machine in the morning if people are sleeping, it will wake up the whole house. I compare the noise level to the equivalent of a very loud air compressor machine that you use to inflate your tires. If it were quieter then 5 stars across the board.

    Easy and tastes great!
I highly recommend this cold brew machine. Not only is it very quick and easy for on the go coffee, it is also user friendly. This was my first time using a cold brew and the directions were clear and simple. Even though it brews so quickly, the coffee comes out tasting great and strong. Additionally, the cold brew is easy to clean and does not take up too much space in the kitchen. 10/10!
