The bottom of the cone is removable, but doesnât stay on very well so the cone will just fall off while you are pouring boiling water into it.Besides that it would be a very nice product.

I absolutely love the flavour of the coffee that this pour over produces. But the removable silicone ring is difficult and annoying to put back on before each use. If it wasn’t for the obnoxious ring, I would have given this product 5 stars.

The best pour over coffee maker I have ever used
I had reasonable experience of using pour over coffee maker in the past: a plastic cone with disposable filters. I then switched to a coffee maker with grinding and pour over function in one which was not to my satisfactions for various reasons. I wanted to switch back to simple pour over device with the goal of reusing the filter device. ireum looks different from most others and has the quality others do not have. I decided to buy it. It turned out to be the very best ever for several reasons:1) the device allows the water to go through without trapping any coffee particles (I used fine grade freshly ground coffee) which does two things:a) no coffee residues in the coffeeb) easy and complete cleaning of the device: every time as if new after cleaning2) if you follow the protocol of warming the device, pour small volume and finally the correct volume of what’s desired: the coffee is pure, smooth and of the desired strength.If you are looking for simple but high quality coffee made by yourself, this is a must have!

I chose this filter because it could make a large cup of coffee, and it looked very nice. It does both quite well. It makes a great cup of coffee, I want to stress. It has a stretchy, removable rubber bottom that helps to keep the filter on the cup; however, it is devilish to re-fit if it comes off. It can be done, and may be worth it for the stability it provides, but the process is exasperating.

I had hoped to use disposable coffee filters to cut back on cleaning and coffee grounds in the drain, but they do not fit. Otherwise, itâs beautiful.

Great product
The product quality and design are perfect. The base that holds the filter up is 4.5 in which makes it versatile to fit alot of coffee mugs I especially looked for one like this since I have a wide coffee mug that is 4.45 in. I also have a ceramic coffee filter which is mostly just cool to have, it filters perfectly but it takes a long time for the coffee to drip down and all the small coffee particles get stuf inside the ceramic, which makes it hard to clean. This metallic filter on the other hand the coffee flows quickly without loosing any of the quality, and its easy to clean. I do not get the small coffee ground particles I get with a regular filter and the coffee taste is excellent. Quality between this and ceramic is very similar without the wasted time waiting for it to pour, this one is much faster. I am also happy about the materials used for this filter it is not like my other filter which has plastic and we know plastic with high temperatures releases chemicals that cause cancer. This product is excelent, wish I had bought it first, you won’t need anything else after it. Just make sure you clip on the base securely.

Love it!!!
This is so easy to use. I had a plastic pour over device where paper filters are needed. This does not require any paper filters as it has a small mesh filter as to the bottom.It is easy to clean, just rinse and let dry. It’s two peice, the bottom base comes off.The only minor issue I occasionally have is sometimes toward the end of the pour over the filter slows or gets clogged. This does not happen often and may be due to ground size or the fact I add ground powdered cinnamon to the coffee at times, during the pour over.

Needs to add instruction for non baristas
So first off the product is very well made and can be disassembled into 3 pieces (cone, base, silicone). Should also need to dried off so as to prevent water stains as it is very polished. The taste of the coffee comes out great without the paper taste from most standard pourovers.If you don’t have prior knowledge of making coffee, you should know that this cone filter should first wetted with hot water so as to heat up the metal and prevent the coffee from coming out too cold. The grind of the coffee should be in between paper cone filter (#5 on ditting 1203) and metal flat bottom (#7 on ditting 1203). (Experience: 10 years as barista)I also tend to take off the silicone foot and just have it loose under the cone as it is time consuming to attach after taking it off to clean every time. It also can’t make larger than 16 oz cup at a time (if you want the coffee to be decentish).

Simplest and most effective way to brew
I would say this is the most simplest and effective way to brew. Itâs hygienic as it is easy to clean and dry. Also, it doesnât take up space on the countertop or in cabinets. I give 5 stars for sure.
