Pour over coffee has a rich, robust flavor that drip machines have a hard time matching. The only downside is that the method usually requires a lot of hands-on effort, but the GoodCook Koffē auto-drip pour over does the work for you. Just fill it with coffee grounds, set it over your favorite mug, and pour in the hot water. The auto-drip tank has a precise hole pattern, which evenly distributes the water for optimal flavor extraction, making up to 16 ounces of coffee in just three minutes. (That’s the ideal amount of time to prevent over- or under-extraction, and that’s three minutes you can spend making breakfast or emptying the dishwasher.) Of course, if you want to do a controlled pour on your own, the auto pour container can be removed and you can make your pour over manually. Your Coffee. Your Day. Your Way.
UNIQUE AUTO DRIP TANK: Distributes and controls water as it brews, for perfectly timed pour-overs
USE WITH OR WITHOUT AUTO DRIP: Pourover dripper fits most standard mugs
INSCRIBED MEASUREMENT MARKINGS: Know exactly how much to pour to prevent overflow
USES STANDARD #2 FILTERS: Starter pack of 1 included
PRECISE POUROVERS EVERY TIME: Timed to complete brewing in 3 minutes for perfect coffee extraction

Great addition for a quick cup of coffee
I’m a coffee fiend, and I love new ways of preparing coffee. I don’t have a Mr. Coffee; instead, I like to do the pour over method. This was a slightly different product than the others I have. This works really well. I love how the device regulates the drip of the water, so you do not have to fret about having a specific kettle. I also love how the device has clear lines for different amounts of water (stickler coffee enthusiasts will ignore and use weights). The coffee it produces is great and the clean up is amazing! I recommend swapping out the disposable paper filters for a reusable one, but other than that, this gets a thumbs up from me!

Plastic was not the best choice here
As coffee is part of many people’s daily wake up routine, having good coffee is a must for the start of any great day! Usually making your own coffee is a lot cheaper than going to a coffee shop, and this GoodCook Pourover coffee maker is a great way to do that! It is easy to use and takes up not a whole lot of space in the kitchen. Simply place this coffee maker on top of any mug and together with a coffee filter on top, pour hot water on top of the coffee grounds. The coffee drink will slowly drip down into the mug, making for a great tasting cup.One downside I would say is that this pourover coffee maker is made of plastic and since coffee requires hot water to make, high temperatures and plastic is usually not a good combination. I wish this was made with glass instead, but given the price I would say this is a decent budget option.

Effectively perfect pourover, would make a great gift!
I’ve tried a few different pourovers, and each has had its merits, but none have really echoed what I’ve gotten from a few more memorable cafes. This pourover set from GoodCook seems to have worked out the drip geometries better, as I’ve had a great run of coffee since I’ve started using it. The filter size is a standard one, the wait time isn’t too long but isn’t too fast, the grounds are getting fully brewed through based on how they’re left in the filter after the process is complete, and the flavor of the coffee is excellent each time. The upper drip tank section is on the wide side, but that’s really where the magic is. For those days when I don’t have the free time to do a hand pour, the drip tank handles the distribution consistently and the results speak for themselves. It’s easy to wash the two pieces too, nothing fussy or mechanical to work around. I’m impressed. This would be a great gift for someone who likes pourovers but doesn’t necessarily like making them by hand, or someone who just can’t quite get the results they’re after. It would also be great for a dorm room or starter apartment setting. Why get a full-sized machine if you’ve got this and a kettle to heat the water in? I can see this being a big hit this holiday season!

    Brewing Made Easy
I haven’t owned a traditional coffee maker for a long time. I have a Nespresso machine, but my friends, knowing how much I love coffee, often give me bags of coffee as gifts. I just don’t have the heart to tell them I need something to brew it with! 😊I used to have a pour-over coffee maker, similar to the bottom part of this gadget, but I can’t find it anymore. This one is better! I like the added top part where I can pour in the approximate amount of water for the brew and just let it do its thing. Without that, it would be like my old one, where I had to stand there and slowly pour the water myself. There are markings on the top part indicating the water volume you’re pouring. I say “approximate” because once you pour the water in, it starts dripping right away. The dripping hole in the middle looks small, but it drips faster than it seems.Overall, I really enjoy using this and am so glad I can finally drink the coffee my friends have brought me from all over the world!

    Solid Pourover Dripper
This is a relatively straightforward item. There’s two (2) parts:1. Drip cone2. Water reservoirDrip cone is huge. It’s solid. A #2 filter disappears in the cone, I assume so it doesn’t interfere with the reservoir bottom. But it’s huge.Water reservoir is interesting. I’d probably want to start with 100C water and just let it run through, since it will undoubtedly cool and I prefer brewing at about 96C. But if you weigh everything out, then there’s extra steps/pieces to juggle and it’s a bit much for a simple process.Ok, so yes, it makes a decent cuppa. But the bad is that using the reservoir doesn’t give coffee a proper bloom. If you grind relatively fresh beans immediately before brewing, then you’ll get lots of gas and bloom and the bottom of the reservoir gets dirty/fouled (mine did everyday for a week). I made 36g of coffee each time, so well-within the acceptable range. So, TLDR, this is an interesting device. Works fine as a dripper, but it’s huge. Works fine as intended, but you may need to watch like a hawk and add water sparingly and often.

Plastic, handwashing recommended, coffee can overflow
For $12, this is an OK price for something we’ll mostly keep in the cupboard until a guest wants a pour-over coffee. I am concerned about what might leach out of the plastic when in contact with hot water with regular use. The company does not allay any fears about this concern on the packaging. And the top part just sits on the bottom without any kind of seal. If the coffee does not go through the filter quickly enough, hot water spills out the sides. If you drink this kind of coffee regularly, put your $12 towards something better made out of stainless steel or glass. My rating system:5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value!4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy.3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised.2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews!1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere.
