I ordered the GMISUN Coffee Canister since I often purchase large coffee bags from big box stores and needed a way to store smaller amounts of beans near my coffee maker. I hide the rest of the big bag away in the cupboard.I decided on this canister since it looks classy with its rustic-style color and wooden handle. The lid also has a silicone ring in the cover which provides an airtight seal, keeping coffee beans dry and fresh.

This canister is really airtight. I stored fresh ground coffee in it for a week without opening. It smellled fresh when I opened it. It is the perfect size for one pound of ground coffee. Nice matte finish.

It’s good on the coffee bar either to hold coffee pods or simply as decoration. I also like it in the kitchen. It’s not too big but still holds a good amount of coffee beans if you’re into grinding your own. I like that it has the silicone ring so it’s air tight. It’s a definite step up over our old coffee canister. You’ll like it… just make sure you hand wash to keep it looking good.

I am not sure if this is airtight, but I’ve been using it every day for over a month and my coffee grounds still taste and smell good and strong. It’s fairly sizeable but is short enough to fit in my smaller cabinet. The top handle is also nice, although sometimes I catch myself wanting to grab it to pick up the container – not a good idea! I wouldn’t test the strength of the lid seal and the lid may easily be pulled off. But it would be nice to have a handle on the side of the tin. It does look nice, and would be suitable for display on a countertop. The canister material also seems nice and provides substantial protection for the coffee as it’s both thick and opaque (light-proof). Overall, it’s a pretty decent coffee storage canister and I’ve been happy to use it and will keep using it!
