great concept, few minor design flaws
There is a ton to love about this tea infusing bottle; the glass of the bottle is thick, evenly cured, and is reasonably weighty. The lid had not only a button to open the spout but also has a locking mechanism for those who would shove this in a backpack or purse. I love there is a handle on both the lid and the neoprene sleeve. The neoprene sleeve is very insulating and will keep your tea hot for well over 3 hours (as mine was kept). I also love that the infuser basket is enclosed! The top securely screws on and clicks nicely into place in the neck of the bottle. There is also a handle on the basket to easily remove it. The basket is also a reasonable size for the volume of the bottle, since the bottle holds about 1 pot of tea this basket can hold about 4tbsp of looseleaf tea or 3 tea bags. This may make a weak brew for some types of tea and may not be strong enough for some people’s tastes, but I prefer a smaller basket as is is really easy to overfill a big basket and you end up wasting tea or having too strong of a drink. Bigger baskets are also harder to clean.Now onto the things I’m not super thrilled about. There is no venting mechanism on the lid, so if you are drinking a cold tea that you can just chug, there will be pressure built up in the bottle, making you stop several times. Because the lid of the tea basket is a fine mesh, the hot water will tend to splash out if it is poured too quickly, this could be a hazard for the inattentive. I’m also not certain if this glass is meant to be under pressure, so I would not recommend brewing your tea while the lid is on and sealed. This is a bummer because I’m sure many people would love to just pour their hot water and go to drink their tea later. This bottle included no instructions, precautions or even a “how to clean”. The bottle is on the pricier side (at $30) and is made out of excellent material and is thoughtfully constructed, I can’t see there being a reason not to include some instruction on use and care. Another thing I don’t particularly love is the time from pouring the hot water to when the tea is drinkable… I cannot chug super-hot drinks. I measured the time from when I poured my hot water into the bottle (not in the insulating sleeve) until it was cool enough to sip at 35min. I also put an ice cube on top of the infuser basket to help this along. It’s cool that the glass can retain it’s heat so well, but this is a long time to wait. This bottle will probably be excellent in more warm months, when I can infuse my tea in the fridge overnight and just run out the door with it in the morning.Overall, its a very nice bottle, and worth getting especially on sale or with a coupon. It would be very reassuring to have some manufacture recommendations on if I can put the sealed lid on right after adding my hot water. I would recommend this for the avid tea enthusiast who wants to bring a whole pot with them. But there are smaller options that are more on the $20-$25 range on Amazon, even one that looks the exact same (but larger) for less by Hoyuansu. So shop around, this Airdd 32oz bottle is nice, but I think there are definitely more economic options.

I was on the hunt for a glass water bottle that included a strainer to diffuse fruit and herbs â this is it! It is very well made and easy to use and clean. I reached out to the seller with a few questions and they were prompt and very courteous. Highly recommend!

Good product for tea drinkers but overly large size
This product seems to be decent quality, and has some nice features, such as a tea-leaf infuser that fits into the bottle and a screw-on plastic cap like a water bottle. The only issues I have is that the bottle is so large that you need to put a lot of water into it to reach the tea strainer (located at the top) â often it’s too much for me to drink at one sitting. Also the bottle is made of glass, so if the liquid is hot you have to be careful not to touch it, although it does come with a protective sleeve that largely (but not completely) avoids this problem. This product may be good for people that want to sip on tea over a long period of time. The first time I received the bottle it was shattered on arrival, so I wonder if there’s a way to better protect it during shipping?

Very Happy with Purchase – Use at Work for Hot and Cold on the Same Day
I ordered this item to use for hot tea in the morning and cold drinks in the afternoon. I’m very happy with the item.â¢ Glass: I purchased for the glass. It is a strong borosilicate. Naturally, I try to protect from accidentally dropping.â¢ Infuser: The infuser stays in place when drinking and also removes without struggle to change out tea or to switch from hot to cold. I am only concerned that I may bend the infuser. The gauge of the metal is a little thin, but no problems yet.â¢ Locking Lid: The lid has a nice lock feature, keeping it from accidentally being bumped-open when in transit.â¢ Sleeve: The sleeve is made of a nice, cushioned, durable material.+ I did have an issue with the lid gasket coming out, but the seller was quick to respond to me to resolve the issue. Great service! I believe the product is a dollar or two more than other similar bottles, but I have a feeling it allows for better service when there is a concern.
