Great kitchen toy
I love my tea. I have an electric kettle at my home office desk. When I’m not in the office I make a kettle of tea with this. It heats quickly on a gas stove at medium heat. The infuser goes in easily and comes out with a wire bail to lift it out that hasn’t ever gotten too hot to the touch. After brewing I put it on an electric coffee cup warmer that is large enough to settle it on the heating pad and then have tea for hours. The infuser works well whether it’s filled with full leaves or the dust at the bottom of the tea box. Some tea naturally gets by, but certainly not an unreasonable amount. It’s cute, it’s functional, it gets comments and at $24 is a good buy.

*Update – 1 problemThe screw in the lid needs to be replaced with stainless steel. The one in it rusts like crazy. I have to thoroughly clean it everyday.That’s not a deal breaker, a screw is an easy replacement.So my original review below is still true. â¬ï¸Beautiful teapot. Performs great over gas stove. Handle stays cool to the touch and the filter is very fine. I like loose leaf whole tea and many filters allow fairly large bits of sediment from the tea to come through. The sieve in this pot only allows the tiniest specks of tea dust to escape.I can easily remove the sieve and place the pot in the microwave to warm the remaining tea.Very pleased with this product.

The top rusted

Screw in cap rusts!
The glass teapot works well, but the cap cover that is listed as stainless steel has a screw that rusts!This must be dried after every use and loosened to remove rust! Poor quality!

I’ve been using this tea pot for almost two months now and I am very satisfied with it. The only things I’m not a fan of is the knob on the lid is made of plastic and rust can form under the screw so I took it off which requires me to use something like a tooth pick to remove the lid. The infuser is also prone to moving around and not much more than half of it is submerged when the pot is full so you can’t just stuff it or use the infuser with a small amount of water.Although the design isn’t beautiful, the spout works perfectly without dripping and when it does drip, the drop is so small it doesn’t make it to the bottom. The pot it’s self is also so lite that it’s extremely easy to lift and move around which is perfect for me because I have issues with my hands.The piece that goes into the spout allows me to put more herbs into it as long as they don’t fit through the larger opening but sometimes you may have to clear it out.I make a pot of tea, bring it to my bedroom or office and sit it on a hot plate so tea is always ready to pour as long as there’s water in the pot.Something I would prefer is a wider infuser that sites very close to the bottom so that the infuser is always useful even if you use a small amount of water but for the price, it’s perfect.
