They have a heavy base, which helps prevent tip-overs. The lid fits snugly and the glass straws as a bit of classiness…it’ll be interesting to me to see how long it takes me to break them! (I’m a bit clutzy!) the hobnail design is cute & makes them easy to grip. I also appreciate the fact that the manufacturing seam isn’t obvious. In fact, I can’t even see a seam on the glass I’m currently using. I feel all grown-up now because I have a full set of matching glasses and tea cups!

BEWARE. This glass only holds 12oz comfortably (14oz if you fill to the very brim). But it does NOT hold the 16oz as advertised. I tried contacting the Seller to see if maybe we had been sent the wrong glasses and they had other bigger glasses but they did not respond. Except for the size, the glass seems very nice — sturdy, attractive and easy to hold — but we really needed a bigger glass so we will return.
