Small, reliable and easy to use
It took quite awhile for us to find a 1-2 cup coffee maker. This one makes two medium cups. About 14 ounces. Perfect for a couple. It is easy to use and has a built in filter so you don’t have to use coffee filters. However, we use paper filters because we sometimes buy finely ground coffee. In that case the included filter lets fine coffee grounds settle into the filter holder and can clog it up. We now use #2 Melita filters that fit perfectly. When the Gevi coffee was new it made very hot coffee. Too hot, but Gevi apparently knew what they were doing. After a few months there is some loss in efficiency that has made the temp just right. In the two years we have used it (about 50 cups per week), it still works well. Based on my experience, I can definitely recommend this small coffee maker.

Great Product and Performance. This Gevi is a “Gem”. Worthy of Six Stars
Terrific small coffee maker. Starts with excellent packaging. Quality and easy to read instruction manual. Wow, pretty rare nowadays. If your space is vertically challenged this is your coffee maker. Nice separate small fill lid. Coffee door opens to the side so less vertical space needed and more importantly keeps the water feed and brewing parts from being disturbed every time you add water and coffee. Auto shut-off works perfect and is worth it. Comes with a nice high quality reusable filter or you can use a disposable filter. Distributes the water very well for brewing and is very efficient with the amount of coffee used. Great quality, great value, highly recommend. Bravo Amazon!

Good little coffee pot, if a little noisy
As my coffee consumption has decreased I needed a small coffee pot. I don’t need much in the way of bells and whistles and this has none. A standard small drip coffee maker, there’s no clock or timer or modes, just provide water, beans, electricity, about 20 minutes and a #2 paper cone filter. I was a little surprised the first time I used it at how loud it could be. A series of fairly loud clicks happens while it’s brewing, no idea why, but it doesn’t seem to be doing any harm.Having used it daily for a couple of months the sound doesn’t bother me, the coffee is hot and it has an automatic shut off after an couple hours. I also haven’t experienced any drips onto the hot plate, which is very nice.

    Perfect small coffee maker
I am not a fan of K-cup coffee makers for many reasons. My preference is a drip coffee pot. Since I am the only coffee drinker at my house a small pot does the trick. This Gevi is great! Better than my old Mr. Coffee one that the Gevi was replacing. It doesn’t take long to make four cups, the coffee stays hot for a reasonable period of time and the automatic shut-off prevents burning any coffee leftovers. I use an unbleached paper filter rather than the reusable filter (easier clean up). Not sure how long this will last as I have only had it foe a couple of months. It gets daily use and sometimes 2 or 3 times in a day and every time it makes great coffee. I highly recommend this coffee maker.

Best Coffee Maker I ever had
I have never written an Amazon review before, but I like this Gevi 4-cup drip coffee maker so much I felt compelled to do so. I’ve had a number of other machines and even made single cups with coffee bags (like tea bags). My most recent machine was a 4-cup Mr. Coffee. A good coffee maker but the hot plate burned the coffee in the carafe if it sat on there for more than 30 minutes. I was looking for a coffee maker that would NOT burn the coffee. Plus, I like that the Gevi shuts itself off after two hours — on occasion I forgot to shut the Mr. Coffee off and it ran for hours and hours. But, the real test with Gevi was to let the last cup of coffee sit in the carafe for those two hours then drink it. It was NOT burned and tasted as good as the first cup. The carafe makes two good sized cups and that’s about all I want in the morning and I don’t want to rush back to the coffee maker right away for the 2nd cup. I want to drink it leisurely. It’s a good looking machine, I like the no drip spout. The only awkward thing for me is it sits under a shelf in a coffee/drink bar. I have to pull the entire machine out to lift the water tank cover so I can pour water in. Also, there’s a plastic bar in the middle of the water tank that requires one to be careful when pouring in water. But those are minor points. This machine makes a great cup of coffee and keeps it tasting great for hours. No burning. I’d highly recommend this Gevi coffee maker.

    Great Little Coffee Maker
I just received this cute little coffee maker. Brews about 4 cups (or two larger mugs) in less than 10 minutes, easy to use, coffee tastes good, hot enough. I used small filter for easier cleaning and chose this over the Keurig as it was less plastic waste. Good price but time will tell as to its durability.UPDATE: well, after using this little coffee maker for a couple days, I’m returning it. It spits quite a bit of water while brewing and makes a mess on the counter. Also it scatters quite a few coffee grounds in the pot which end up in your cup. Sorry to see it go as I had high hopes. Moving on….

It brews just fine but there are some usability issues
I’m the only coffee drinker in my home so a smallish drip machine is what I prefer (over pod machines). After many years my old 4 Cup Mr. Coffee gave up the ghost so I thought I’d give this inexpensive model a try. After 3 days here are my opinions. It brews coffee just fine. I don’t taste any difference when compared to the old machine. My main issues with this model are the fill tank and the carafe. The fill lid is very small which makes it easy to spill water all over when filling. The top hole in the carafe is about the size of a racket-ball and is very difficult to hand wash. You’d have to be a toddler to fit your hand in there to clean it. Also the reusable filter has no tab or handle. So you have to pull out the basket and tip it to release the filter which can get messy. Also the reusable filter is typical of any other…which is to say it allows some of the finer grounds to pass though. If that bothers you the #2 disposable cones are a must. In summary, it makes coffee but is not as user friendly has a similar Mr. Coffee drip machine.

I purchased this coffee maker because it has no BPA in the plastic (supposedly) and its a good bran name. Having say so, while it looks great on the picture, it does not feel or look any different than a $20 black and decker as faras been flimsy. So overall this is just too expensive for the few features it has, and I feel I have been ripped off.
