Work great, very cost effective Nespresso option
I love my new Nespresso Vertuo Next machine. Best coffee Iâve made at home. But the Nespresso and Starbucks pods are quite expensive. This kit gives the ability to reuse the aluminum pods, along with your own favorite espresso, to make homemade espresso, cappuccino or latte at a much lower cost. Filling the pod and resealing with this kit is easy, and it works great in the Vertuo machine. Iâve seen other reviews about the pods not staying sealed if you pre-make them well in advance. I donât have that problem because I make them as I use them. Highly recommended.

WORKS GREAT!!
Iâm usually not a review writer, but Iâm so pleased with this product that I wanted to share my experience. I was a little skeptical that this would work, but figured it was worth a try at the price point. After three weeks of use, Iâm thrilled. Itâs easy and saves a ton of money. I found the most time consuming part of the process was the initial removal of the original foil tops. The factory adhesive is pretty strong and takes a little careful scraping to remove completely. A cheap exacto knife did the job well. The good news is Geestaâs adhesive is strong enough to work well, but peels off pretty easily. This make future refills much easier and quicker. I fill my pods using my favorite Cuban espresso (the one in the yellow container) and the results are fantastic. It brews a strong cup with a espressoâs signature crema. On a Sunday morning, while the rest of the family is sleeping, I can fill 10 pods for the week in about 15 minutes.

These refills really work!
Unlike their competitor’s (Nessus), the Geesta foil tops adhere well and don’t cause the machine to reject the pods. Best if used with original pods. It’s a great savings of money for great coffee!

This kit makes it so easy to reuse Nespresso Vertuo pods.
I like using my Nespresso Vertuo machine but hate how much $ the pods cost. Plus it is such a waste to throw them out.Someone reviewed this kit on YouTube and I decided to get it.I was not disappointed.Once you get the original foil off the used pods and clean it, filling it with new coffee and sealing it is easy. It comes with good instructions.The kit includes a measuring cup that fills the pod with the perfect amount of coffee. The pod fits in the holder and makes it easy to fill. The little included brush cleans off the sides where the foil sticks to the pod. I already used all the foils and reordered more.Saves about $1 per pod vs ordering more from Nespresso. Plus I get to use my favorite Italian coffee. 1 lb fills 30 xl pods.

Adds another dimension to this excellent coffee machine
Nespresso Vertuo plus is a very good coffee machine. The only flaw with this machine is the price for the pods! Not to mention the limited flavors of coffee available. I am not a huge fan of hacks but this one is actually worth it. I have a good coffee grinder and I buy beans from various sources. While my espresso machine is perfect for that, the Nespresso is very convenient to pop a pod and enjoy, This little gizmo works to bridge the gap! I prepared the pods by choosing different sized pods and prepping them by removing the foil and filling with finely ground coffee and sealing with the adhesive foils. Everything works fine and there was no leakage. The coffee produced was good quality and flavorful. The crema was adequate and I believe there is a lot of room for improvement as I am still experimenting with the grind size, tamper pressure and amount of coffee per pod. The coffee beans you buy determines the flavor ultimately. The average cost of a pod is $1.25 plus and refilling it brings it down to less than a third. My wife thinks I am crazy to go through all the trouble but I think it is worth every grind! The downside is that it takes time and effort to prepare a pod versus popping one that’s already made for you. I only use this on the weekends when I have extra time to putz around. Weekdays it is straight to ready pods or espresso which is way quicker. Life is full of compromises but this makes it worthwhile every now and then!

Alors pour mon petit cafÃ© du matin, je cherchais une solution pour la vertuo, un systÃ¨me un peu plus Ã©cologique et lÃ©gÃ¨rement moins onÃ©reux (on va pas se le cacher les capsules NescafÃ© coÃ»te cher)….Donc j’ai vu ce petit kit que j’ai commandÃ© sans hÃ©siter et je n’ai qu’une chose Ã dire EXTRA !!!Alors bien Ã©videmment il faut un peu d’entraÃ®nement, personnellement au bout de la troisiÃ¨me capsules j’avais dÃ©jÃ trouvÃ© le truc…J’ai joint des photos pas Ã pas de la prÃ©paration de la capsule, alors au moment de “tasser”(photo 3) le cafÃ© Ã l’aide de la cuillÃ¨re n’hÃ©sitez pas Ã bien appuyer, plus vous tasserez votre cafÃ© plus belle sera votre mousse (le mÃªme systÃ¨me qu’une machine Ã cafÃ© horeca par exemple)…donc voilÃ en espÃ©rant que mon commentaire vous aidera dans votre achat et mÃªme dans la prÃ©paration de votre capsule pour moi belle dÃ©couverte qui est adoptÃ©….
