Easy to use coffee maker
I purchased this to replace my Cuisinart coffee maker when I learned about the hazards of black plastic. This coffee maker only contains gray plastic if you switch the permanent filter for paper. It is easy to use and clean and makes a great pot of coffee. The clock is easy to set and the best part is it has fairly soft beeps which is nice when you live in a small house and others are still sleeping.

I have been scared to order a new coffee maker because the last 3 have broken after less than a year. This one is holding steady and let’s me know when I need to clean it, has a timer and and I can change how long I want the hotplate to be on as well. I love it, definitely worth the price even if it’s not the most “sleek” trendy looking maker out there. Only complaint is that it’s sometimes tricky to pour the water in, the lid doesn’t open far enough to get the carafe in there easily. Not a deal breaker though.

This coffee maker looks great on my counter. The quality is better than expected. It has a timer and automatic shut off. The size of the craft makes it great for company. Over all I would definitely recommend it.

Carafe leaks heavy when pouring coffee or filling resevoir
I’m being generous at a 3 star rating considering the daily annoyance. If you fill the glass carafe full of water for reservoir, or have a full pot of coffee made, once you start pouring liquid it will run down the glass carafe and just make a big mess on your counter that you will be wiping up daily as you make and pour your coffee. I’ve tried everything……pouring very slow, slightly different angles, etc. The faster you pour the worse it is, but for no leaking onto counter you have to pour so slow your arm will get a weight resistance workout by the time it’s empty. (I’m a strong man that works out 3-5 times weekly and it’s unpleasant even for me.) Also, the design of reservoir lid will not allow you to fully empty water from carafe into the reservoir. So then you have to empty remaining water in sink unless you want watery coffee. This pouring/leaking issue is much worse when carafe is over halfway full. So those making small pots of coffee may not get as annoyed but it’s still not ideal. It’s a great looking coffee maker that makes good coffee. Just some poor design choices.

Nice looking and works!
We bought this when our older pot died suddenly. We got it on sale at the time to serve as an interim pot, until our Braun replacement ( as per warranty) arrived. That was a year ago and we do love this pot. It looks great on the countertop and it faithfully brews great tasting coffee. Easy to use and clean. The clock is useless, as are mostâ¦canât see the numbers, and itâs not the right time. But, we have clocks on our stove, microwave, walls, wrists , TVâ¦.so thatâs not an issue.

Keeping it as shortly as possible.. It beeps and stops partway, midway half way through.. Sometimes brews a whole pot without an issue, it does whatever it wants and is pain for my elderly parents whom I’d bought it for to replace a Mr.Coffee that lived for years before this mistake ð

Excellent Coffee Maker
This coffee maker was a little more expensive than my previous ones, but I’m very happy with it so far.The display is excellent, and it has the option of leaving the hot plate on for up to 4 hours. All the others are 2 hours so I was always warming up my last cup in the microwave. I also think the machines that use the cone filters make better tasting coffee that the basket style. The hot plate seems to be very durable which is also a change from previous machines. I can’t comment on durability yet but will update the review in a few months.

I’m giving this four stars because placing the carafe back onto the coffee maker is a little …clunky? It take some practice to get the right angle.But otherwise I really appreciate the clean design, and it makes good coffee. It’s simple to program as well – this is replacing a Braun that was awful to program.
