Product break down after 6 weeks
This milk frother is really great. Makes amazing smooth foam. And then one day after 6 weeks it stopped working. Milk gets heated but the wand was not working I donât think. Does not produce foam on any setting including cappuccino, latte, cold froth or hot chocolate. Now it is good only for heating milk!

DO NOT BUY Its only grewt until itâs not.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. This is my second frothlabs frother and, like the first, it starts out by making perfectly foamed and frothed milk. Until one day it doesnât.This one lasted under six months. The company WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCT unless itâs purchased directly from them, even though they sell it here.More egregious is that the company wants you to think of them as the Apple of frothers. Except they are not even the maker of the Galaxy Note 7 (thatâs the one that would randomly self-immolate). Itâs a beautiful device, almost as if Apple would make a milk frother, but the unboxing experience is, well, sad and unfulfillingBy comparison, my 30$ Bodum frother is four years old and just keeps on ticking like a Timex watch. YMMV. But get the Bodum if you want a consistently reliable experience. And note the strange and somewhat scary noises the Frothlabs device makes in the video (shot today ) as it attempts but fails to froth the milk.Make sure to watch my video if you really want an idea of the âexperienceâ of not obtaining frothy milk from a supposed high end frother.

Something has gone wrong!
Itâs been six months since I last posted about my Froth Lab frother. Itâs started out wonderfully but it is no longer frothing. It still heats up the milk but no longer makes the lavished froth it once did.Furthermore, the black coating inside the frothing cup is chipping. I am going to reach out to Froth Lab to see what they will do. I will post again after I get some assistance. Below is my original post with pics of my coffee. I hope to have that wonderful experience again!I love Frothlabs milk frother! It has exceeded my expectations. I have been a coffee lover all my life and was losing my passion for it when I had to switch to soy milk. Frothlabs frother has changed that complete for me. It makes beautiful and lavish froth better than most coffee houses. Now I wake up in the morning excited to have that first cup of coffee again! This machine is quick and easy to use. It washes up easily in moments, and ready for the next cup! Enjoy!

I REALLY LIKED that my coconut milk was hot. Got tired of having lukewarm coffee. The hot milk in my coffee made me smile as I drank it.However, I was super disappointed that it didn’t foam, since I read some reviews that said this particular unit did work for coconut milk.I may try another kind of milk, but due to allergies, I may not find one that works for foaming.I will probably keep this product since I really like having my milk hot when adding it to my coffee.Update: I’ve switched to almond milk and it works great with this unit, LOTS of foam. I think the coconut milk is just too high in fat content to foam well (or at all). I am now so happy with this product and would highly recommend it if you’re interested in lots of foam for your coffee!UPDATE!! – I’ve now had this frother for seven months and found a milk that works to make a luxurious foam. I took really good care of the frother and even unplugged it after each use. I recommended this frother to a number of people because I was so pleased with it. HOWEVER, I’ve noticed over the past two weeks that the frother speed slowed down and now just stopped. I’m so disappointed. For the price I paid, I expected much more use out of it. I won’t be recommending it to anyone and suggest that if you’re in the market to buy one, DON’T buy this one!

Easy to use
It froths well, but the froth doesn’t pour out. You have to scoop it out with a spoon to make it look nice on your cappuccino cup. Otherwise it’s just liquid. But easy to use and definitely whole milk is a must

Tried twice. Both failed.
I tried a whole bunch of cheap frothers out there, including hand-held battery-powered ones. But when I read a review somewhere that this was the one to buy, I went for it. This was last year some time. I was delighted to see that the designers of the Frothlabs frother had solved the problem that seems to plague so many other frothers: the bottom of their machine has no motor shaft between the motor and the milk tank. This means that there is no chance of a leak, as is the case for so many other designs out there. This Frother gave us outstanding frothy goodness for about a month, and then it started to slow down, that is, the froth became less dense. I initially thought this was because of the fattiness of our milk, so I ignored it. Then, one day, no froth at all. Just a lame, one-quarter-speed spinning whisk. I did all the troubleshooting, and got nowhere. Then I noticed that the manual said to unplug it after each use, and I remembered that I didn’t always do this. So , filled with shame, I sent it back and got another one, via Asurion. This time around I made great efforts to unplug it immediately after each use. I was a good boy and did my duty to God and Coffee. But my virtue had no effect whatsoever. The machine failed, even more spectacularly, within two weeks. The whisk would not even rotate. The design of this frother is really wonderful, as a powerful magnet rotates the whisk, as opposed to directly driving the whisk with a shaft from the motor. Too bad they didn’t figure out how to make it last for more than a few months. Do not buy this machine, until they correct these problems. And who knows when that will be.

Love a morning Latte
This is a great little machine! Hot or cold foam options. Steamed milk for my London Fog latte. My home made lattes were as good as anything from the coffee shop. Absolutely impressed with this machine. It works quietly and quickly. Looks nice on the counter. Easy clean up. Alas, after many, many months of daily use, it stopped working. I miss this frother and will order another one when they come back in stock!
