These containers wash and wear well. I was happy to see great sturdy quality as sometimes the plastic stuff these days are too thin. These were perfect and the lids are super tight. I don’t think anything would spill if knocked over. I do a lot of food prep and freezer meals so these were perfect for me!

Lids fit very securely, so I have high hopes for these. They are a nice portion size. And for the price, they are way cheaper than buying ziplocks or rubbermaids to freeze stuff and since they are all the same size, they stack well. They are useful for making large batched of food like soups, sauces, etc and freezing for good portions later. Or to bring to school or work. They seem decently thick but I wouldn’t yank too hard on the lids or they may break. As someone else mentioned, don’t try to remove a lid frozen. I can definitely see that shattering it as it was on tightly empty and warm. But I am very pleased and excited to use these for uuber food prep. (I have a newborn and a preschooler and a husband, so these will come in handy.)***One thing to note about their rating- it seems that it’s been substantially lowered purely because some people thought there were 50 instead of 36. I see 36 in the title but maybe that’s been updated over time and used to say 50. That is the MAIN reason for the star loss. So ignore that- it caused some one stars. So no- 36 containers. Great product. Not even sure why that would warrant a one star because 36 instead of 50 for $19 is still so much cheaper than the standard $5 for 3 or 4 containers you buy at Walmart or wherever of other brands.

…let them go to others without having to ask for them to be returned (like the more expensive leftover containers). I was almost mad about how many times I had to circle the lid to get it off, but then I realized it keeps the food IN so wonderfully!

Very compact and secure
Use these all the time for soups. They don’t leak and close tight. Fell to floor and didn’t leak.

Love these!
I use these as my primary food container in my food planning for three meals per day. They wash well, hold up to being stored in the freezer as well as being microwaved. I was worried when I initially ordered them that the lids wouldn’t be durable, but they really are.

Not amazing, but have lasted 1.25 years of constant meal prep!
I originally bout these in October, 2018. Today, January, 2019, I’m leaving a 4 star review.Yes, they are leak-proof, and perfect for storing my meal prep, leftovers, or sending home with my friends with their leftovers. I take them to work, where I will occasionally drop on on the ground and, ultimately, about 1 out of 3 will have broken from the impact.I microwave with them, with the lid slightly off kilter to avoid splatter in the microwave, and haven’t experienced any issues with that so far.I have frozen food with them, as well, to no adverse side effects.Yes, a few lids broke before I’d ever used them.. And the older they got, the more likely to be broken. I’m down to the final 6 sets, and it’s about time to reorder.I do wish they weren’t so prone to cracking upon a 3 foot drop to a hard ground, and the lids wouldn’t split..But overall, a year and a quarter is a decent run for some not quite amazingly made, semi-disposable food containers.Therefore earning a fourth star.Update – June, 2021; The reordered containers (purchased shortly after initial review) seem to be more durable. I have most of the containers after nearly daily use of some of them. Hands down my favorite meal prep container, and the price is right. I don’t mind anymore when one breaks, because they are not glassware. I think it should be noted, though, that this set has always been hand washed, never put in the dishwasher. I don’t know if that makes them more durable or not.
