ROASTED COFFEE
Fresh Roasted Coffee Has Gone Solar!
By setting a bold new standard for what’s possible in the coffee industry, Fresh Roasted Coffee is leading the way toward a more sustainable future. This achievement not only reduces our carbon footprint but also positions the company as a trailblazer in renewable energy and sustainable business practices.
WHY DO WE ONLY ROAST ON LORINGS?
Loring roasters also benefit from a closed-loop system, meaning the process is almost entirely automatic and self-regulating. Instead of constantly reheating the ambient air in the roaster, Lorings recirculate the heat, requiring less energy to reach ideal roasting temperatures. This translates to more Fresh Roasted Coffee for you and less burned coffee that goes to waste.
NITROGEN FLUSH
It’s no mystery that coffee starts to lose its freshness right after roasting. To combat this and extend the life of your coffee, we immediately package, nitrogen flush, and seal each bag. Nitrogen is a naturally occurring, non-reactive, food-safe gas that’s heavier than air, which forces flavor-stealing oxygen out before your bag is sealed tight.

Customers say
Customers enjoy the coffee’s taste, value, and quality. They find it a satisfying choice for dark roast fans, making a good cup of coffee that makes better espresso than Jamaican or Kona. The coffee has a nice medium roast and is a proper Italian roast. Customers also appreciate the aroma, strength, and roast darkness.

Great taste for the money
Tastes like way more expensive coffee. Beans were roasted to my preference. Taste is great, as well as the smell. Given the price point – you canât ask for more. Highly recommend.

Great light roast
Light roast has the best flavor profile, IMO. It’s barely acidic, less bitter, and smells richer than deeply burnt beans. We use a blender to grind just enough for a week and keep the rest in the sealed bag.We like the White Knight Organic 5 lb for value. Price is comparable to the single origin organic light roast beans at my local co-op (PCC) – $11.99 per lb.

Four stars, unless it walks on water (metaphorically)
Tastes good. Full flavor, a lite roast, and this brand is relatively affordable. I’m a fan of the 5 pound packaging, too. Last’s a long time and produces less package waste.

Lifting The Fog
This is my second Fresh Roasted coffee. The first was excellent. When I opened this bag, I wasnât encouraged that this was a good purchase. It reminded me of stale store bought $1 a pound mass produced coffee. The luxurious cost of this coffee, I feel o should be blown away by it. Like if you buy a Ferrari. If you buy a Ferrari it should drive, feel and smell like a Ferrari, it should not drive, feel and smell like a 1976 Datsun. From the moment I opened the bag I was disappointed. The beans looked like great beans. Like they should have a different smell and I certainly paid a premium for them, I ground them and brewed them up just like I do all the coffees I have tried and reviewed. Something magical happened in between the bag opening and the grinding and then the brewing. The taste was nothing like the smell inside the bag. It was an incredibly flavorful coffee. The end result was a really good cup of joe. This took me by surprise. Ultimately the coffee turned out great and not a waste as I initially thought. 1 star off because a premium coffee carrying a Ferrari price, should not just shock my wallet, it should wow my taste buds and my nose and in that this coffee failed one part of that. Might be better smelling next bag but this one, fell two stars short of perfect. Price, ouch, initial open bag aroma, aye carumba, ultimate taste, great, 3 stars.
