Perfect fit as a replacement!
This fit in perfectly as I accidentally broke my original glass for my French press. I was so happy to look and find a replacement without having to buy the whole thing again. The glass seems like itâs well-made and is going to last. It is very easy to clean!

Great upgrade to Bodum glass carafe
This is an excellent, high quality replacement glass carafe. I have a Bodum carafe for my press coffee I’ve used for years but the glass in it would break too easily (I went through several of them).I decided to look for something better. The borosilicate glass from Crush basically upgrades the quality of the Bodum carafe with a stronger more durable glass. I’ve used the Crush replacement glass now for over a year and 1/2 and I literally use it every single day to brew the perfect cup of hot coffee.Some key things about this:- Stronger glass: it’s still glass so it can break, but if you bump it here and there it has a better chance of surviving. I’ve bumped it lots of times over the past year and 1/2 with this carafe survived where my Bodum glass generally would not. The borsilicate glass is the same glass used to make products like the Chemex pour over coffee maker.- Perfect fit in Bodum (8 cup34 oz1 liter): It’s not the exact same shape as the Bodum carafe, it has a slight curve out on the top lip, but it does not negatively or positively effect anything from my experience.- Also comes with replacement filter screens which are a little softer, very nice; again a perfect fit.Can’t recommend this product enough, more than replacement glass, this is an upgrade to the Bodum carafe!

Perfect replacement at half the cost from manufacturer
The unit is compatible with an 8 cup french press, regardless the units of measurement on the glass are in fluid ounces. Fits my Bodum perfectly. During first usage, the screen seemed a bit stiff, but my first beaker broke after a decade so I wasn’t used to something so new. The screen loosened up after the first usage. I don’t think 2 replacement screens are needed, but it was a nice touch given the price point.Edit: 5 months into frequent use, the beaker shattered during washing. The spout, I argue, may have been better than the original Bodum. Unlikely to purchase again simply due to the lines being inconsistent with how much coffee is returned after brewing. At full plunge, my 14oz mug got about 9oz of coffee at the 12oz line, as the rest of my cup is cocoa.

Good replacement, measurements are off
This is a good quality replacement, and I love having the fluid ounce markings. However, this is my second replacement after dropping and breaking the last one, and on this one the measurements are off. I poured in an exact 12 and 18 ounces to test, and both came well above the line â about 1/2 inch. In other words, 12 oz as marked is actually about 10 oz; 18 is 16. That was disappointing as I now have to adjust to get my same size cups of coffee as measured by the last carafe, which was accurate! The glass is also thinner than the Bodum original, yet still seems good quality and packaging is great.
