Cute camping must have!
We love our coffee, but the percolator coffee we were testing at home wasn’t working out too well. A week before our first camping trip this season, we did a quick search for a stainless-steel French press which led us to this Amazon find. I’s a wonderful find – the cute style, the coffee’s taste and the length of time it stays hot, the durability of this press (granted it’s only been on one trip but it doesn’t look like it’s been packed with a variety of camping gear in a tote).

Okay for a French press
Makes a mean pot of coffee. However, the shaft and filter base are hard to disconnect as the knob at the top unscrews when trying to disconnect the bottom. Makes it difficult to clean thoroughly.

I like well-made things. This French press seems to be double walled and made with seriously heavy stainless steel. It works beautifully and is of course simply easy to use

Keeps beverage hot
I like that this is metal and insulated, I can add boiling water without fear of cracking a glass one (which happened and is why I bought this one). Perfect size for single serving. Easy to clean, but noticed that when drying it, metallic colored stain transfers to towel. Not a big deal, just hope its safe.
