Does the job
It does exactly what is says. Able to get my ground coffee in without the grounds getting into my cup. Only thing though is that it’s not glass it’s like a tough plastic.Doesn’t seem to be a affected by the heat of the hot water

The fine mesh steel filter will filter out finer grinds than many other french press coffee makers typically do producing a smooth and delicious cup of coffee without unpleasant coffee grinds. Making coffee in this coffee press is very easy. First you heat your water and pour it into the glass beaker, add your ground coffee and let it steep. Let it steep longer for a more full bodied coffee or less time if you prefer a lighter and more smooth cup of coffee but keep in mind the longer you let it sit the cooler the coffee will be when it is finished.The unit feels like it is very high quality and in fact parts of it have an almost mirror finish to them. The press slides and glides down very smoothly overall the the fit and finish seem like top quality. When you are done using this coffee press it is easy to clean with either a rinse in water for a light cleaning or use warm soapy water for a deeper clean. One nice thing about a coffee press like this is you don’t need to bother with purchasing paper filters and if you prefer not to use your microwave to heat water you can use an electric kettle to boil your water instead. I am very impressed with both the quality of this item and its generous 34oz size and I would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone interested in buying a french coffee press.

A Quality Set-up!
As a newcomer to the French press coffee-making method, I must admit that my insight is a bit limited, and I lack a broad basis for comparison. However, I find the set promising and am currently experimenting with the right amount of coffee to use. This does not reflect upon the coffee maker itself, so I feel confident in writing this review despite my limited experience.Upon receiving and opening the French Press, I was immediately struck by the exceptional packaging and protection. I do not believe that I have ever encountered an item so well-packaged; it seems as though one could almost play football with the box and the press, given the incredible degree of protection surrounding the set. It seems as though the company places a high value upon delivering the press in pristine condition. The French Press seems to exude quality when one handles it.A friend of mine once complained about his French Press allowing too much coffee sediment to escape. Although I never witnessed this issue firsthand, as I never had any of his coffee, I strongly suspect that if sediment is a concern for you, this press does an excellent job of filtering the coffee. It effectively screens coffee, which I greatly appreciate. Thus, if sediment is a concern, it need not be. The entire pot and filtering system appear to be constructed from quality materials that should provide years of dependable service. I definitely recommend this French Press and the entire setup.

Well executed, not a bargain now
It’s a fine product, well designed, with very good quality materials.At $11, which i paid,, this is a fine French Press. At $32, it has competition. All French Presses follow the same formula:. Dump in some ground coffee, let it steep for about four minutes, press down the plunger ,and decant.The filtering on this device is a bit too good for my taste. I tend to prefer the rougher taste of coffee from a Moka Pot. But that’s my preference, your taste may differ.

Beautiful and Does the Job
I own several French press coffee makers: one for coffee, one for tea, and a spare. What I love about this AMFOCUS French press is that it is made from borosilicated glass and easily displays the coffee inside. It is a well-crafted item and does the job of making coffee perfectly. I gifted this one to my son because he loves French press coffee and did not have a French press coffee maker of his own. He was thrilled with this gift. This is an excellent product and a great value at the current discounted price point. Highly recommend!

A darn good cup of joe
This is perfect for me! I’ve been using my standard drip coffee maker for years, but I do love a nice french press coffee. It’s like you can allow it to steep however long you want, to make it stronger or weaker. This is a good size too; way too many french press pots are small, designed for one person, this lets me make coffee in the morning for my girlfriend and I. It’s good construction, the mesh is great and doesn’t let grounds filter through. Love this!

I love this French press so much I bought a second one for my son. He also loves it.
