The press part connects to…
…the lid so, if you like to add cream before you drink, you have to pull up the lid far enough to add anything. Kinda messy so just pour into another cup. Otherwise, it does the job. Easy to clean. Works great if you drink your coffee unadulterated!

Well made travel coffee press!
This is a very well made travel coffee press. It is very well insulated and keeps liquids either cold or hot for hours. I love the fact that you can take the press part off of the lid if you want to use it just as a travel mug and not a press. This travel press was very handy to have on the last two vacations I took so I could make coffee the way I like. The only cons I would have on this mug are: I wish it was a little bigger (maybe closer to 16oz instead of 12oz) and it was a little tricky to figure out how to take the press screens apart to clean it. The press does pack the coffee grounds in the bottom of the mug so you may need a spoon to get them out, but the pros really out weigh the minor cons in my opinion.

Leaks
Coffee leaks from the lid constantly. I tried it 3 separate times and ended up with coffee drips everywhere. Garbage. Returning.
