Great French Press!
This is a replacement for another metal french press. That one replaced a series of of glass ones that all broke.This is a great coffee maker. Itâs all metal as far as I can tell, and it makes great coffee. Itâs a little bigger than my old one. I didnât realize that when I ordered, but itâs a nice surprise. The old one was fine for one person, but not multiple people. This one is fine for several. Love!Easy to clean, and simple to use. What more can I ask for a coffee maker?

Durable and Just the Right Size
This is my second purchase because I wanted a spare in case the other one was dirty when I got ready for my morning coffee. They have survived literally hundreds of dishwasher cycles and both still look very good. We try to pour the coffee within 5 minutes of brewing to achieve the flavor we like and the coffee is still very hot after sitting for that period of time. The 1.5 L unit fits nicely in our suitcase when we travel. Bonus… the seller is exceptional. I needed a part (after the return window closed) and the communication and customer service were the best I have experienced on Amazon.

Doesn’t keep it hot
Easy to use and easy to clean. The coffee flavor is good. Just doesn’t keep it hot for very long – it’s not well-insulated. The temperature will already have cooled significantly after the 3-4 minutes of waiting. And if you add cream to your coffee, the cream will cool it too much.

No Brainer: *EXCELLENT* for any coffee lover
Replacing my older french-press, I wasn’t sure about stainless over glass; but, glass cools too fast (or I drink coffee to slow) and my older press wasn’t large enough. So, I wanted larger than 1L, and wanted something that would retain heat longer.The double-wall design attracted attention for heat retention, and the 1.5L size fits us better than the larger 2L, which we’d never finish.So… stainless steel vs. glass. Absolutely NO difference in taste. The brew is excellent. Heat retention in the stainless is *far* better. And, a plus, the stainless steel, single piece carafe design is easier to clean than the glass+holder. It even looks nicer.Press mechanism works fine. The screen holding design is screw-on/off, but without a separate “locking” collar as on my old glass press. This appears to be better; tightening it down is more secure and doesn’t seem to be loosening over time.Room for improvements? Not really. If designers are listening, shaft’s bushing through the cover (an actual metal bushing) might be more “precise”, but I suspect it purposely is looser to avoid shaft getting stuck. The double wall is good at retaining heat, but I wonder if filling the cavity with sand/salt etc., would make it even better & add some additional heft (that might actually be too heavy).OVERALL: This is a no-brainer – buy it. If this ever wears out, I’ll order another immediately. 5+ stars.

Game changer!
For years, I wrapped my Bodem French press in a tea towel cosy to keep my coffee warm, but admired the stainless French press friends used at their house. After my old beaker cracked one day, I saw the opportunity to upgrade and am so glad I did.The finest grounds remain separate from the coffee for the most part – a huge improvement over my old vessel – and is easier to clean. Less fragile, obviously. Coffee stays warm for at least an hour and it holds more volume. And the design is neither fussy nor too avant garde. Win, win.I shouldâve invested in this years ago.

Good value for your money
Product was packaged well and arrived in good condition with no damages. The box it comes in does not do justice to what’s inside. The box itself looks a little cheap and cheesy, but the French Press inside is top notch!It feels heavy and very sturdy and looks amazing on my coffee bar (love that stainless steel !) Like it says, it has 2 screens on the press, and comes with 2 replacement screens in the box.It makes very good coffee! Smooth and bold ! We had to play around a bit with how many scoops of coffee to use (it does come with its own scoop) before we found the right amount. We use 6 scoops of Lavazza ground coffee to fill 4 – 8 oz.mugs. This press does keep your coffee warmer than using a glass press.Like other reviewer’s wrote, the plunger does scrape the sides all the way down, but this doesn’t seem to affect the operation of the unit or the taste of the coffee. Even with the double screens, I still found a few grounds at the very bottom of my cup, but nothing to get excited about.It washes up very nicely and easily! I never put it in the dishwasher – just hand wash the unit and rinse off the plunger.Overall, I am very pleased with the product and feel the price was fair for the quality. I would recommend it to others.
