I found the perfect teapot (for me)
I love tea, and I love loose-leaf tea in particular. I have tried many different teapots and strainers, from traditional models to fancy/modern ones like Ingenuitea and french presses. For each one of them, I liked many features but I always found a problem that killed the deal for me–from tea debris getting into my cup to the Ingenuitea valve getting stuck after a few months of use.I have found my perfect solution in the For Life 45-ounce teapot with infuser. My highlights:(1) The teapot delivers exactly the amount of tea I want, exactly where I want it, with no tea drops from its spout.(2) The metallic strainer/infuser (included with the teapot) does not allow any tea leaves (even small fragments) to get through. Only tea reaches my cup!(3) The cap fits perfectly directly on the teapot as well as on the infuser, so you have your choice of using the teapot with or without the infuser in it. The cap also has an internal silicone lid that prevents it from popping out of the teapot when you are serving tea.(4) Beyond its functionality, the teapot is beautiful! I bought the white one, but I am planning on purchasing one or two more of different colors.(5) The relatively large capacity is perfect for me.(6) Easy to clean.After years of trying different teapots, I have finally found the perfect match. I highly recommend it!

Spout is good for a pour, the seal on the lid stops tea coming out when pouring. The handle is a little awkward – looks goog though. But I prefer a good spout and no spilling from lid. So I’m happy.

I got this to replace my standard bagged tea teapot, so I didn’t need the infuser. I was concerned that the lid would topple everywhere when I used it, but the lid fits when the infuser isn’t inserted, and the lid has a rubber seal to keep it in place. Overall great teapot and very cute.

Die Teekanne ist vom Design geschmackvoll und der gebrÃ¼hte Tee darin ebenso. Das Teesieb ist sehr stabil und meiner Meinung nach unkaputtbar. Der Deckel ist zusÃ¤tzlich mit einer Silikondichtung versehen, der zum einen fÃ¼r besseren Halt sorgt und zum anderen sicherlich auch die Teetemperatur langsamer absinken lÃ¤sst. Das GieÃverhalten ist gut, allerdings verwenden wir schon seit Jahren kleine Tropfhilfen, die einfach in die TÃ¼lle gesteckt/geklemmt wird.Der Preis ist sicherlich etwas hÃ¶her, es handelt sich allerdings auch um ein wertiges Produkt. Volle Punktzahl von mir!

Great Teapot for Large Batches
I have never understood the “ounce” method for sizing teapots. Many times they are very inaccurate. I suppose people drink tea in many different sized cups and some even use coffee mugs, etc. I drink my tea in a 6 ounce cup with a saucer. I like two cups of tea and my daughter drinks two cups of tea. For us, a teapot that makes 4 six-ounce cups of tea is preferable. This teapot makes double that. If you wish to serve a large group of people, or you want to drink tea the same way coffee drinkers drink coffee, this size is perfect. If you want only a few cups of tea, go to the next size smaller. We will be purchasing the next size smaller and using this pot for making tea to ice down or when company comes.With this teapot, a full kettle of hot water from our Simplex tea kettle fills this pot. In the infuser, we use two heaping teaspoons of Harney & Sons Irish Breakfast loose leaf tea and steep for 7 minutes. Tea perfection! It makes roughly 8 six-ounce cups of tea this way. The infuser is good for both long leaf, like most of your Chinese blacks, Oolongs, and Green teas, or for the Cut and Tear type teas, like the Irish, Scottish, or English breakfast. There’s no more need to have both a teaball & large-holed infuser. This infuser handles both jobs well.This teapot is NOT for those who wish to make smaller batches of tea. If you want to make a smaller batch of tea, one that normally uses one heaping teaspoon of leaf, then get the next size smaller. This is not knocking this teapot. This is a very fine teapot. You need to understand that it is very large. It would work well for making a large batch of tea.The handle is nice and large. It’s good for people with large hands like myself. It stays fairly cool, even under the tea cozy. The lid has a silicone gasket that seals into the infuser, or body of the pot. It’s easy to pull the infuser out at the end of brewing by using the lid. Afterwards, it stays in the body nicely, allowing you to pour a cup of tea without worrying about the lid falling off. If you’ve made lots of tea, you know what I’m talking about.This is a very nice teapot. Just know that if you purchase this one, you will not be making small amounts in this pot and be happy with it. Get the next size smaller. If you want a pot for company or making tea to be iced, this is perfect for that.

The perfect teapot for the tea lover in your life!
We got this teapot for our tea-loving Mom as it had all the qualities we needed: infuser, large capacity, dishwasher safe, and purple was a great bonus!! It gets used every day, as she absolutely loves it! It is always proudly displayed on the counter after its nightly bath in the dishwasher. We unfortunately had a small incident where the lid broke. She was devastated but she can still use the pot and infuser without the lid, it’s just not as effective! We still would recommend this teapot to everyone considering a pretty purple teapot!!!

This is the best teapot EVER
This is the best teapot EVER! I’ve been drinking tea for more than 50 years, and I’ve used all kinds of teapots, starting with my grandmother’s English pot. This is absolutely the best.1- The glaze is beautiful and complete.2- The colors are deep and rich (I have both the orange and dark blue).3- The size is perfect for 4 – 5 cups (with milk)4- The pour is fast due to the large spout opening and short spout.5- The short spout and shape of the handle make it easy for me to pour WITHOUT wrist pain.6- The tea infuser is great with the tiny holes and large opening at the top, really easy to use and clean.7- The spout is short and open to the pot, so there are no holes keeping me from cleaning the spout.8- The silicone gasket keeps the lid on when I pour, and helps keep the tea hot.9- It doesn’t drip all over when I pour, really, IT DOESN’T DRIP! There is moisture that gathers at the tip of the spout, but I have not seen that moisture form into a drip, and I haven’t had to wipe drips off the counter. And I haven’t seen drip spots on my new teapot cozy, either.It is beautifully made, and the only drawback I can find is that my husband can’t fit his hand inside to clean it, so he has to use a sponge on a stick. It looks beautiful on the counter, too.
