Okay for dry goods – not airtight or moisture-proof
I love reusable containers like this for storage and this stainless steel black canister looks very good. The matte black and textured finish with the little white swallow logo is elegantly attractive. I like the walnut wood of the lid. As shown in the product photos, this is not a large container. The gasket on the lid is very thin silicone which tends not to seal very well. I tested the airtightness level by putting some water in the canister then turning it upside down. A lot of water leaked out. That tells me that this is not airtight and it is not moisture-proof. For me that limits what can be stored in it. Right now I have some tea bags in it, but I wouldn’t use it to store my more expensive, full leaf teas. It’s not good for anything that can go stale. But candy or snacks that are in their own wrappers would be fine. And any kind of small, non-food items would be okay too. I still like it for how it looks, but it’s a bit pricey and I’m a bit disappointed.

Sturdy little storage tin
Nice small sealing storage tin. I am using it to keep my assorted small puâerh tea cakes safe. The lid seals tight so I donât have to worry about them drying out or getting too humid in there. The âlargeâ size is about as tall as my reading glasses, could take 2 and a bit more cups of loose tea. Will look good with my stainless appliances in my kitchen.

Very small
I like the style of these little canisters, but they are very small. The size is shown in the description, but I didnât really pay attention to that. Iâm not blaming the company, just thought people should check the sizes before buying.
