My favorite jar for sourdough!
The quality is excellent! The size is medium/large, depending on what you’re using it for. It has a great seal and is the perfect weight for a glass jar. The handle is the best part! When stirring my sourdough, I use the handle, and it’s so easy to just put it in the fridge and take it out with the handle!

Great food storage!
These jars are great! This is my second time ordering them. I use them for sugar and flour. Love that I can dip a measuring cup in the wide mouth. Bought second set for daughter in law to store Coffee. Unfortunately, hers only came with one extra gasket not two like mine did.

Absolutely love these
Absolutely love these little jars. Itâs really cool to have a handle on them and they have a really nice silicone ring insert for the lid that has the little pull tab to get them out. They fit very snuggly in the lid. And the lid fits snuggly on the jar. They should keep food items fresh. Now I am not putting any liquid in these jars so I donât know how the seal is on liquid items but it seems to do just fine for dry items.They are not super big. I am thinking they may be about a half a gallon however theyâre the perfect size for a large package of beans or package of rice. Or even a couple small packages. The glass seems to have a good thickness to it. They seem to be very durable and should last a long time.They are relatively easy to open. It is a little harder to get a small hand around the larger lid, but having the handle does make that much easier to get lit off.They came very well packaged, in Styrofoam inserts inside of a box very pleased with the product. Washed up very well in the dishwasher lids on top shelf no warping of the lids and none of the inserts fell out.Totally recommend this product and try again.

Nice but not what was needed
The product is nice and packaged well. However I thought they would be nice to keep my flour in. They will not fit a 5lb bag of flour. For reference.

Handle on side is so helpful!
This is the largest size jar I’ve found with these handles. I wish they came in more sizes, but this size is working well for me because it’s not heavier than I can handle when filled with rice or sugar. There is nothing larger like this that will hold something like a 5# bag of flour unless you are willing to get something with a wire handle banded around the jar opening. The glass is substantial, so they should survive well as long as they are not dropped and the handle should help with preventing that.It’s a really useful product for those with hand issues such as neuropathy or arthritis. It gives a better grip on the jars for moving them from the cupboard or pantry to a work counter. Arm strength to lift a full jar would be a different issue.The screwcap lids seal well because they have a gasket lining the inner perimeter. An extra one is provided along with the two that come placed inside the lids (I don’t know if you get one when you order just one jar); be sure to check the box they come in for it as it doesn’t show well against the protective Styrofoam packaging.Some have written that the large diameter of the lids makes it difficult to open the jar, but I use a rubber jar opener or silicone lid to make it easier for me. The problem they complain about may come from some (like my husband) over-tightening them. You really don’t want to do that because plastic will crack easier than metal canning lids and I haven’t been able to find that you can get replacements to fit these storage jars.I have 4 of these already from two separate deliveries and I am about to order 4 more because I find them so useful. I’ve been slow to fill my pantry with them because of worries about them breaking in transit from the extreme cold weather we’ve been having this winter, but so far all have arrived intact. They are really well packaged with made-to-fit Styrofoam insulating them from the cold and from shallow dents and punctures to the shipping box. Boxes inside a larger box with other items likely have the best chance of arriving intact.Be aware that if you don’t have Prime and opt for free shipping, shipping originates in CA and are on trucks for a long time with many stops till they get to the east coast. The longer they are in transit the more opportunity there is for damage to occur, so be prepared for that. I don’t know what happens with the other shipping options

Great replacement for the plastic storage containers
I’ve been looking for something to replace my plastic storage containers after all the hub bub about micro plastics came to the for front. For me these are perfect for two reasons, They are large enough and pretty enough to just leave on my counter and they have a handle which helps my old hands grip them for moving around and using, Very happy with these and super fast delivery, They also come with extra seals.

Using these to hold sourdough starter/discard. Works great! Love the wide mouth and the big handle. Easy to clean, easy to add ingredients to them, and easy to hold onto because of the handles a bit pricey but they were perfect for my needs.
