Delivers consistent grind and has very wide range of grind size. The anti static cup makes for easy clean up and less fine coffee grounds spilling. Easy to use and a bargain for the price!

Very nice design and instruction but easy to clog and stop grinding and not too easy to clean. Moreover the grinding size is not consistent and/or matching the description. The coffee kept coming out too fine and clogging the outlet causing the unit to overheat and stopping for safety. After cleaning, it would start again but even at 25-30/35 I ended up getting a too fine coffee that would clog the unit and the espresso coffee filter. After trying my best for a week and wasting a lot of good Italian beans I had to give up and return the unit. The instructions were nicely written and with good explanations but not enough to make it work.

I’ve used this grinder for about a month and in general I am happy with it. It grinds my single dose espresso shots fairly quickly and seems to be consistent in the grind size from very fine espresso to coarse pour over grinds. My only complaint is this grinder does regularly retain about 0.2 grams of fine espresso ground coffee inside the shoot even with tapping and shaking so my shots have been consistently light. However it is pretty spot on with the amount of retention in each grind so I can compensate in my next shot. The problem is I then have old coffee in my freshly ground dose. The optional portafilter bracket does work with less expensive portafilters that have lighter weight handles however my bottomless portafilter with a solid wood handle doesn’t stay level and sags a bit if not held in place by hand.If you are just starting out or aren’t weighing your coffee for your espresso shots I would recommend this grinder as it is decent for the price.

UPDATE BELOWPackaging was nice, though the first one I received didn’t come with the espresso filter attachment. I reached out to the seller and company via email, and neither were unable to provide the adapter. A return took care of the problem, and I’m glad to see it was likely just a one off issue. Okay, now that is out of the way, let’s get to the grinder itself. Everything seems like a solid build quality, the burrs themselves look nice, and the clicking feedback when adjusting is oddly satisfying.Like another reviewer, I also upgraded from a Cuisinart burr grinder that I’ve had for a few years. I thought it was okay, I figured out how to brew decent drip and espresso with it, but its inconsistencies became far more apparent when trying to grind fine for espresso. It was a static mess and didn’t seem to make a huge difference the finer it got. Anyway, this grinder definitely does not have an inconsistency problem – nor the aggressive noise that is almost whiney.Setup was easy, and it has a nice, small footprint on my coffee bar. As I referenced above, the espresso portafilter attachment is a solid upgrade, with one pretty large caveat. On my Cuisinart, I could set the grind setting lower than the lowest setting to get a small amount, which is not possible on this grinder. You have to grind it on at least a 2 cup setting – which causes my double espresso basket to pile up and overflow if I don’t watch it, or carry it to tamp it very carefully. With that said, the amount seems to be about perfect, though I am still experimenting with my espresso grind. Speaking of the grind settings, as I alluded to above, the grinder seems to be VERY consistent. I have tested a few espresso grinds(Starbucks espresso beans), and honestly, anything less than 15 was so fine, I couldn’t even brew with it as it clogged my portafilter using a standard tamp pressure(I have a spring loaded one to get a consistent tamp). This isn’t a concern, just something to pay attention to and learn from when first using. The way the grinder is setup, it’s harder to set it to a more fine setting with beans in it, so I set it fine with the idea that I’ll easily move more coarse to adjust.TL;DR version: It’s a small footprint, low static grinder that is quieter and far more consistent than my Cuisinart burr grinder. There was a missing espresso portafilter adapter in my initial order that Amazon fixed, and grinding on a setting less than 15 was too fine for my espresso machine. You can’t grind less than the “2 cup” setting, which causes my portafilter to pile up so you have to watch if you are using this method.Update: I wanted to come back and update since I have learned a lot more about the espresso world. I have a completely different machine that takes a 54mm portfafilter and that fits perfect in here. To solve the issue with it overflowing the basket, I have been pre-weighing my beans instead of having beans sitting in the machine. You can solve the overflowing by one of two ways: get a nice dosing funnel that provides extra volume before you tamp or get a dosing cup. I had been using a random cup to weigh my beans, but a dosing cup has been a really nice addition to my espresso setup. I got a 54mm dosing cup from Kaffe and it fits PERFECT in the attachment on this machine. Perfect height, width, everything. I have dialed in my grind settings and get a consistent, quality grind with this machine. I feel like this is a steal at this price. Is it going to match the reddit user’s $500 grinder? Probably not…but who really needs that? This is a solid setup that is as good or better than anything <$200. Good enough for my palate.Update #2: I just ordered a second one for my cabin. This time it had a $20 off coupon, making it $50. I don't think there is a better deal out there. Some might be more flashy, or offer more grind settings...but I absolutely love this grinder...and the price is unbeatable. It is consistent and I can grind too fine for either of my espresso machines, so it clearly does the job very well.

It grinds coffee.
Makes a lot of very fine grounds like what a blender-style does, which was the reason I wanted to graduate to a burr grinder: consistent size granules. It fails in that area. The problem: the super fine particles clog the paper filter so it takes FOREVER for the brew to drip through. One positive: what a treat to not have to shake the container to dissipate the static, like I had to do with my previous grinder. Also it has timed settings that are marked with numbers of cups to grind for. For example the “3” setting tells it to grind enough to make 3 cups of coffee. This feature is very inconsistent. Some times I will set it on 5 and have to run two complete cycles to get enough for 5 cups, other times it’s fairly accurate. This can make for grounds sitting waiting until next time to be brewed, which is not the best for freshest flavor and aroma.

I am super impressed with the grinder so far. We have been using it for a couple of weeks and it has been great. Surprisingly quiet, easy to use, and I love the anti static feature.

The two things that I do like about this grinder are that it has a portafilter attachment and there are many grind settings. However, whenever I grind my beans, there are always at least 2 grams left behind in the grinder than what I put in. It makes it hard to make consistent espresso every time without having to shake the grinder a bit to get the rest of the grounds out. It is also pretty noisy for a grinder.
