Right size, right description.
I looked up the size and dimensions of the replacement glass insert for my cracked french press insert. When it arrived I installed it and heated it with hot tap water and tightened the strap screws to seat it in place. It’s perfect, thank you for making such a great product.

Not good quality
Only had 2 weeks. Anytime I used I noticed coffee on the counter. I took it out and there is a crack on the bottom

Tight fit warning for replacement beaker for Bodum Brazil
If you plan to replace your Bodum Brazil’s beaker, it could be done, but be aware that it may have a very snug fit. It is typically necessary to heat Bodum Brazilâs plastic handle and base in hot water to expand and soften them before attempting to insert any replacement beaker. Unlike other replacement beakers from different manufacturers that may have a bit of room for adjustment before the plastic handle and base cool and secure the glass beaker, this beaker from Fino in particular, is known for being a particularly tight fit and can be difficult to insert. The tightness of the fit can also cause concern that the pressure could potentially break the glass beaker.

Too tall
The product seem fine but is just too tall for the 11oz Bodum FP. With the plunger fully down there is still quite a bit of water/coffee remaining in the bottom of the carafe. In this case size really does matter!

Perfect for one cup
I bought this out of curiosity as the only coffee drinker in my house. It makes one full regular sized mug of coffee. As a French press newbie, I followed instructions I found online: using bread crumb sized grounds, place grounds in press, heat water to 198 degrees F, pour enough water over grounds for them to soak, let it sit for 3 1/2 minutes, pour the rest of the water in, give it a not-too-thorough stir, let it sit for 30 seconds, then press and pour it into your mug. As Iâve gotten more used to using the press, Iâve learned to guesstimate the temperature and Iâve adjusted my timing a bit. Iâm loving the subtle taste difference from a drip machine and I enjoy the ritual each morning.The press itself is well made and is standing up well to daily use and being washed in the dishwasher. I highly recommend this product!
