Title: Great Cold Brew Set for Coffee and Tea Lovers
I ordered the Fermus Set of 2 Cold Brew Coffee Makers to try out an easy way to make cold brew coffee at home. I also planned to use them for tea, as I enjoy experimenting with different drinks. After using these jars for a few weeks, Iâm happy to share that they work wonderfully for both coffee and tea.The jars themselves are made of sturdy borosilicate glass, which feels durable and high-quality. Each pitcher holds about 32 ounces, but keep in mind that the stainless steel filter takes up some space, so the actual brew yield is closer to 25-27 ounces. This wasnât a problem for me, though, because the set comes with two jars, which allows for multiple batches at once. The light green lids screw on tightly, and thereâs a silicone seal to help prevent leaks, though I noticed a small drip here and there while pouring. Overall, the design is simple, functional, and fits neatly into my fridge. The brewing process is straightforward and beginner-friendly. For coffee, I added coarse grounds into the stainless steel filter, filled the jar with cold water, and let it steep in the fridge overnight. The result was smooth, flavorful cold brew coffee that tasted just as good as what Iâd get at a coffee shop. For tea, I used loose leaves, and the fine mesh filter did an excellent job of keeping sediment out of the drink. Itâs worth noting that brewing times for tea depend on the type â lighter teas like green or herbal need longer steeping times, while stronger black teas might only require a few hours to avoid bitterness. One of my favorite things about this set is its versatility. While its primary function is for cold brew, Iâve also used the jars to make infused water with fruits and herbs, as well as sun tea. The compact size makes it convenient for home use, and the jars are small enough to take to the office or a dorm. Cleanup is easy since the stainless steel filters are dishwasher-safe, and the glass jars are simple to rinse out.If youâre considering this set, itâs worth noting that while the lids are functional, they might feel a little delicate if youâre planning heavy use. The rubber gasket and the flip-top design hold up well for my needs, but I could see how they might wear down over time. Still, this hasnât been a dealbreaker for me, as I primarily use the jars for brewing and storage rather than frequent pouring with the lids on.In conclusion, the Fermus Cold Brew Coffee Maker set is an excellent value for anyone who enjoys cold brew coffee, tea, or other homemade drinks. Itâs easy to use, durable, and versatile, and the two-pack option makes it even more convenient. Whether youâre a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a reliable way to brew tea, this set is a solid choice.

Reducing waste and plastics!
I’d seen a lady on TT making her own creaner and she had a glass jar/lid just like this… and that lead me here (lol)! These cold brew pitchers are fabulous. First, they’re affordable. Not only that but, I’m saving a ton of money by making my own cold breeze versus buying ready made from a store or drive thru. Second, I’m decreasing my carbon footprint. Third, I’ve been on the hunt to find a way to make coffee at home without using a primarily plastic coffee brewing system (while still being somewhat affordable). Even some of the higher end kitchen brands have a plastic water reservoir. Almost every coffee brewing system I’ve looked at, the only non plastic parts of it are the carafe and/or esthetic pieces. I do NOT want plastic in/around/near my boiling coffee water. Sidenote: Yes, I know about stove top espressos and French presses, I’m looking for a brewing system…. This cold brew system has a metal filter/screen, glass carafe and silicone gasket. The only plastic is the lid. The lid could be switched out for a standard wide mouth Mason jar lid to totally eliminate plastics. Either way, it’s a TON better than any other option. At the moment, I’m using the included lid. The lid screws on, has a flip top pour spout and handle. The handle kind of extends farther than I’d like, but nothing I can’t work with. The whole process of making cold brew is super easy and even better if you grind your own beans at home. It holds enough cold brew for almost and entire week (one person, one serving) but, you have two pitchers so, have the ability to make more, if needed. It’s super easy to disassemble and clean (also comes with a bristle brush). The glass jar, filter, gasket all are great quality and will last a long time. The lid may not hold up as long as the other pieces but again, you could just replace with a Mason jar lid. Overall, it’s a fantastic buy, on so many levels, if not just for the money saving or reduced carbon footprint features.

Good quality infuser jars!
This review is for the Fermus Set of 2 Cold Brew Coffee Maker, 64oz / 2Quart Glass Pitcher with Stainless Steel Filter and Pour Spout Handle Lid, Mason Jar for Making Cold Coffee, Fruit Drinks, Sun Tea (2).So I grabbed this set of infuser jars to add more variety to my water. Many times we have too much fruit for us to eat before it goes bad. This gives me a new way to use it and jazzz up my water in the process! I drink a lot of fluids as if I get dehydrated I’m more prone to getting a migraine, and mine are cluster migraines. Which basically means they last for days at a time. I’m on a new preventive med but still get breakthroughs now and then. So I make sure I stay well hydrated. These give me a great way to infuse the water for flavor but quick and easy to keep pulp/seeds out. Will use them for cold brew, sun tea… I’m also allergic to red food dye, so I can’t drink most of the commercial sports drinks, coolaide, fruitpunches…. so as natural as I can go the better. These are good thick glass with lids that seal well even with the infusers in place. I’ll prob just put a piece of plastic wrap with a rubber band around them as once the infusion is ready I’ll put it into another glass jar in the fridge and start a new batch so I always have plenty ready. Only thing would be better is if these were gallon size jars LOL.Regular price $38.99 per the listing for the 2 pack set 64 ounces each, on sale $36.99 I’m good with it. But as always watch for better sale/coupon, browse listings…As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

Leaks is shaken
Overall this works great. Ground coffee ends up in the coffee so I find grinding my own coffee to a coarser grind works best. If I try to shake the container it leaks at the seal for some reason.
