Yes it does work.
Didn’t think this would work on chip bags etc without some effort. I was wrong. It works better than expected. It does actually seal the bag in one pass. You may have to work with it to be able to run one continuous seal across the package back seal. Turn it on, wait 10 seconds or so and it should be ready to work.This has several uses, not sure resealing chip bags is the best use. A clip works better for bags you want to open a few times. But for sealing stuff for the refrigerator, etc. this works well.

Fun and quite useful
So, I bought an actual VA cum sealer. And it really great to use for dry items. But any liquid (at least for the one I have) makes it useless. Enter this device.I have used this seal liquids after vacuum sealing. I have to break the vacuum seal a little, but I can add in liquids (marinades, oil, etc) via a small slit and use of a funnel, then use this device to seal it back up.It genuinely works well to reseal bags. I will advise. Run it slowly. The heating element works well but if you try going too quick, it won’t be a good seal.However, with that in mind, once you figure out that sweet spot, it works really well. Would totally recommend. Only toyed around with it for a week or so. We’ll see how long it lasts and how it does after it’s first battery swap.Still very much recommend if you need to reseal things.

This is a game changer for chip clips!
You’ll never buy another chip clip again. This thing is incredibly easy to use, requires no heat up time, works instantly upon battery installation. I was able to close tightly things like chips, cereals, rice, pastas, etc…and not to mention it’s incredibly inexpensive. I LOVE THIS ITEM!!!!

I have been freezing dinners like soup in portions and this is perfect for me to reseal the oyster crackers after opening so they don’t go bad between the times I take out a frozen meal. Junk. Buy something else.
First, the design is terrible. The battery lid is confusing, and the battery holder terminals are cheap and hard to see. Then there’s an on/off switch, which is redundant since the sealer is supposed to be pressure activated, and there’s no way of knowing whether it’s on or off. When using it, it doesn’t drag smoothly, and it takes a bunch of tries. Now it’s stopped working completely despite replacing the batteries.

Convenient
I’m leaving four stars because it took a couple tries to get it to actually work. I did step by step what the instructions said, and nothing until maybe the fourth or fifth try, but it did start working and works very well. It’s very convenient in the kitchen, especially when you have kids that want to open chips and just leave them to go stale. I can’t tell you how many bags of chips that I seal a day.Because my son wants every chip in the pantry. I really hope mine doesn’t stop working, But if it does, I definitely will be buying again.
