Works very well. No complaints.
I was sent a well-made one. Some people may have received one not as well-made or maybe was used? If so, make sure you can return it for refund, or a replacement.It arrived in perfect condition and works as stated. I’ve used it about 25x this year. I like to make 2-3 big cups of pour-over coffee. I always dump out the used coffee grounds as soon as they cool down, and then I rinse it very well, and soak it in a bowl with a little dish soap and hot water, sometimes baking soda, to dissolve any coffee or stale flavors that might be condensed in the mesh. It cleans up nicely. I haven’t yet soaked it in distilled vinegar/water to dissolve any hard water deposits/flavors. I haven’t put it into the dishwasher. I’m very careful how I use and store it, as well as its detachable base. The base has little prongs that hold it onto the above cone. You don’t want to crush or damage those prongs. It also should work for loose leaf tea or herbs. But not fine powders. I would think they would clog up the mesh and not drain very well? Can’t say–never tried any powders.It looks like stainless steel, and so far has not discolored. It is made in China.I hope this review helped you make your decision. I don’t get any perks or money for making them.

Brews Much Faster
This pour over filter does a great job of brewing coffee or roasted chocolate. I bought it specifically for some Crio Bru roasted cocoa because the pour over set I had just wouldn’t let the water through the grounds. It was taking 15-20 minutes just to brew 8 oz. of water. By that time, the water was no longer hot enough to brew the chocolate. So I tried several methods to clean the old one and finally decided to purchase this one. Well, it has surpassed my expectations! Now the water runs through at just the right rate to brew a delicious cup of chocolate and/or coffee! It’s easy to clean too. I either hand wash it or put it in the top rack of the dishwasher. My only complaint would be that there’s a white residue that forms around the rim. It must be that we have hard water. I don’t see the residue where the brewing is happening, so it appears to just be a cosmetic thing.

Fast and delicious! Durability questionable.
I love the unique design of this coffee cone that allows more surface area of flow! We’ve been using this stainless steel filter almost dailyâsometimes 2x/dayâfor the past 14 months. The pour over coffee brewed comes out delicious! Furthermore, when I use my low acid coffee beans, it doesn’t hurt my stomach. I originally purchased this and another coffee cone as an extra step to for either French press or Moka pot prepared coffee to filter out more oils and components that could’ve been hurting my sensitive stomach. On that note, the plastic measuring spoon brush combo that came with this proved invaluable to cleaning out my Moka pot. The thin plane of the brush allows me better access to more thoroughly clean the crevices. This filter also comes with a silicon rim which is removable. It’s still easier to lift it from the attachable drip saucer without burning your fingers.The reason I rated this four stars instead of five stars is I question its durability and longevity. About 10 months after use, one of the prongs on the saucer attachment broke off. Thankfully, the three remaining ones were enough to still allow it to clip together. Then after about 13 months I noticed some of the inner layer was starting to peel away. I worsened it by probing to determine if it indeed was made of metal. It was so thin, I thought maybe they snuck in plastic. Sure enough it is a metal layer. I worry that pieces could break off into our coffee so I’m now looking to replace it. The price has increased about $6 Since April 23, 2023.First I ordered a different coffee cone. However both my husband and I are very disappointed that the coffee doesn’t taste as good through that one as through this specific Conuben model. Fast HOT coffee!
For years I’ve been using both the stainless “pour over” coffee cones and the plastic and ceramic ones that require a filter, and this one can not compare! The coffee filters through so quickly! In seconds! NO WAITING! My coffee is now actually pipping hot!I place the filter into my blender to make my Bullet Proof Coffee. One less step, and one less container to wash!When I removed my previous cones to transfer to the sink, it was still dripping coffee. But once this filter is done, it’s done!It’s a bit pricier but worth it in savings of coffee filters.

This coffee dripper has an absolutely terrible design. Though the base is nice and wide for extra large mugs, coffee ended up all over the counter after multiple attempts to use. Would not recommend. If there was an option for 0 stars I would have chosen that.

I love the concept for a great cup of coffee (therefore 2 stars instead of 1). But the construction leaves a lot to be desired. My first purchase saw the inside mesh lining separate. My second purchase started to fall apart with my first cup of coffee. Very very disappointing!

The concept shape is ok maybe good. Extraction had a strange taste and definitely stronger than a V shape. Cleaning wise ? Small particles get stuck and it’s hard to clean them out. The bottom part has clips to stick to the cone but they often get bend and that results into the bottom part not sticking to the cone which needs pliers to fix and it’s annoying every time.
