Flavorful locally roasted coffee
While more expensive than the store brand coffee that I have brewed over the past five years or so, I like the concept of buying from a not-for-profit seller offering a socially responsible alternative.While I like the over-all flavor, it is significantly weaker than the breakfast blend I am used to. I will order some of their other blends to see which I like better.

Has a rich smooth flavor. I especially like the hint of Chocolate.

Good quality for a fair price
Decaf coffee is a staple in my home. This coffee is good and very good for the price. Smooth and not boring, like other decaf coffees can be.

More medium than dark
Would have liked to have this coffee leaning more to the dark side. Upon opening, it did smell fresh (whole bean), so it’s not that it is a bad product. Just didn’t taste strong enough. More a ‘medium’ tasting coffee, not which I am a connoisseur to the coffee world. Ground it up and gave it to a neighbor who likes light coffee!

NOT Swiss Wter Processed ~ it is MC Processed
I searched ‘Organic Decaf’ and this came up. I misread and thought–assumed this is Organically grown. It is not! Moreover, this coffee is NOT SWP, it is MC Processed. which uses chemicals. According to my Google search, MC Process is “Beans are first steamed or soaked in water. A decaffeinating agent which includes methylene chloride is then mixed directly with the beans to remove their caffeine.”This is the first time in all the years I have been drinking decaf that is it not SWP. My opinion is that when I search ‘organic’ that ‘organic’ products show up… not having other products intermixed. I find this deceiving.I can not return… and am upset about this. Obviously it is my fault for not reading more carefully.
