For price and âjolt factor,â this will not replace your daily Starbucks. Iâve had similar products handed to me as free samples in Koreaâs Gimpo airport duty free shops and it compares well in terms of similar packaging and effect. There is a taste Iâd describe as prune juice with a citrus orange tang to it which is acceptable enough. The effect is slow and subtle, so you find yourself considering that youâre still functioning just above your usual energy level a couple hours later rather than noticing a persistent nervous burst like you would with a couple espressos zapping the brain and nerves. If you donât stop to consider whatâs happening, you may not notice it, though itâs there.I appreciated the chance to once again experience this product which is so respected in my former home in Seoul, but doubt it will catch on in U.S. markets beyond a niche audience. Americans prefer quick fixes that scream success, downsides and side effects be damned. This ambitious price point may be the nail in the coffin of mass acceptance for an otherwise useful occasional boost.

High quality concentrated Ginseng supplement.
While Ginseng is a supplement based on traditional medicine, there are indications that it is beneficial based on more rigorous science.There are however well know potential interactions with other medications (blood thinners, blood pressure medication, diabetes, etc.) and it is thus recommended to consult a doctor or at least do some research first.This is a supplement, not a drink and each packet contains 10ml of a concentrated solution with a pleasant taste. While Korean, the packaging is customized for the English speaking world and well labeled. The packs are very easy to open by hand. Shelf life is about 2 years (exp. Dec 2026 in my case). I assume that (stored correctly) it will last longer, but chances are that we finish the pack of 10 in weeks.While one serving is expensive, it is actually cheaper than a coffee at Starbucks so maybe it is worth it.
