Product Description
Eureka Mignon Filtro Brew Coffee Grinder
Eureka’s first foray into brew-focused grinding; the Mignon Filtro offers quick, consistent grinds in a design dedicated to filter coffee brew methods. The Filtro pairs a lower-RPM motor with a 50mm burrset that balances grind speed with consistency and low retention. A stepless grind adjust system and on-demand grinding makes the Filtro’s simple-yet-sturdy setup easy to use and maintain, while the external thick metal case offers a grinder built to last through years of service.

Conceived to prevent clump development and eliminate electrostatic charge of ground coffee, the ACE System’s regulating action over the coffee outflow ensures dose consistency and cleanliness.
Stepless Micrometric Regulation System
The micrometric system with infinite adjustment points, based on the lower burr repositioning, guarantees top grinding performances and allows maintenance operations without losing the grind setting.
“High Speed” Maintenance
The typical mechanical composition of our burrholder set, that can be dismantled removing only 9 screws, permits to quickly replace and clean the burrs as well as remarkable time and coffee savings.

Excellent, Once You Learn How To Use It
Having worked with, and owned, a number of high quality coffee grinders, I didn’t expect to be surprised at the remarkably consistent grind size coming from this Mignon Filtro model. These machines may be the most under-rated grinders on the market. I suspect that is primarily because they are not designed as single dose grinders, and they do create a bit of retention. However, after I added a bellows and modified the power switch to a standard on/off, there has been no problem with retention. It performs as well as, or better, than the other single dose machines I’ve used…many of them costing hundreds more. There is a bit of a learning curve involved in dialing in the grind size. It can take a number of rotations of the dial to produce the size you’re looking for. Once set though, minor adjustments are all that are called for.I purchased this for filter coffee and the filter burr set is perfect for that. Just for the heck of it, I attempted to grind espresso with it but it remained too course to choke my espresso machine. This was with the lowest possible setting before the burrs chirped. I know that some people are able to use it for espresso, so I guess your results may vary. I suspect that installing an espresso burr set would lead to fine espresso, but I don’t want to ruin a good thing. I’ve another grinder that works just fine for espresso. The motor has never stalled, no matter how many beans I’ve loaded. Frequent use of the bellows probably helps, but these units are built solid. You can feel the quality, and I expect mine to last for many years. This alone make this a high value purchase.I hope this has been helpful!
