Great mat.
Using 2 years now. Tamp 6 shots per day. Very durable and easy to clean. It is still in like new condition. This is a high quality product.

Exceptional quality
This is an exceptional tamping mat. The size is just large enough for a comfortable work flow without dominating your space. Two things that set this mat apart from the rest⦠First is the raised lip that runs along the edge of the mat. This helps to keep loose coffee grinds from littering the counter while also keeping espresso/coffee spills from staining your countertop. Brilliant! And second, the quality of the material used is similar to what youâd come across in a commercial setting. I canât imagine Iâll ever have to replace it.

Looks good, works well
I put this right in front of my Breville Barista Express and it looks great. I have soapstone counter tops and they scratch pretty easily, so having a mat to tamp espresso on is important. Protects the flat surface and the edge of the counter. Iâve also started opening wine bottles on it to avoid scratches and keep my bottles from slipping while I uncork them. Sturdy build.

Itâs a perfect size for someone with minimal counter space. Itâs nice and sturdy and thick. But, it attracts espresso grounds with each use. Iâm too lazy to clean it every day so Iâll clean it once a week. If you want a clean mat you should get something else.

ROLLS ROYCE OF TAMPING MATS ! ! !
To say the least, I am a very O C D about everything I do!. If it isn’t worth over killing, it’s not worth doing! To be polite, I will say that I have been through several ( cheap ) tamping mats, none of which met my O C D expectations. If this mat was a car, it would be a Rolls Royce ! ! ! It fits my counter top perfectly, NEVER slips or moves, and is easily cleaned either by a simple shake, or simple wipe. The other surprising thing about it, is that it is flexible enough to be, as I have tested, to be a TOTALLY non-slip dash mat for holding ‘toys’! Of the very many items I have purchased from Amazon and others, this is the most superior purchase I have ever made! Worth 2x the price ! ! !

Durable construction, perfect size for my needs
I resisted buying a tamping mat because, while practical, theyâre not exactly aesthetically pleasing and would be an eyesore on my white counters. But I got sick of prepping and tamping on towels and wood serving boards, which slide around and get messy. Happy to have seen the light. This mat is thick and sturdy, super easy to clean, and sized perfectly to tuck away neatly on the deck of my machine. Price is right, too.

Simple and functional
It’s a mat. It’s admittedly the only one of these I’ve ever owned, but it’s also the only one of these I really intend to own. It does it’s job, it’s easy to clean, it never had any weird smell that I’ve read in reviews of other products (and maybe this one, idk, I’m not reading the other reviews right now). In short, I highly recommend this product.
