Great Coffee, But the Instructions Need a Brew-tal Overhaul
This espresso machine makes a fantastic cup of coffee, but getting there was a bit of an ordeal! The setup instructions were incredibly unclear. My wife and I tried several times to operate it based on the provided guide, but we couldn’t get the button light scenario to match what was described.Finally, I noticed a small sticker on the side with additional steps, mostly related to the steamer. After following those, we finally managed to brew a cup! Why those weren’t included in the main instructions is beyond me.Once we got past the initial setup hurdle, the machine itself has been great. It makes delicious espresso, and I love having it on my kitchen counter. It’s compact and doesn’t take up much space. A fair value in the segment
As others have said, the instructions are difficult to use effectively. The functions all seem to work (we rarely froth, though). It has a small footprint, much like others in the segment, which really makes these machines more useful to a wider population than the old versions. The end product is good, of course depending on your coffee brands and tamping skills.The water does come to a boil quite quickly, so that helps folks on the go. Pricing, however, seems a bit on the high side, when compared to others. For that premium, it would be nice to get some additional accessories, or have some sample packs of different coffees, or a cover. The suction cups on the bottom are nice for maybe an RV or boat, but pretty useless for my kitchen. If I have any longevity issues, I will update my review, but for now, considering price-point…it’s a luke warm recommend.

Quality, compact machine
This makes a strong, delicious espresso shots, with the foam on top. There’s real pressure. The knob goes up and you can hear the machine vibrating and knocking. There is the steam nozzle on the side, for heating milk, so I’ve had very fun lattes with this machine, or just hot water is an option for tea or Americano. I love the simple buttons and simplicity of the machine. It is very compact, yet does everything I want for espresso. My two minor complaints are: I wish the pressure gauge actually gave the pressure rather than just saying “espresso range”, and I wish the knob for the steam and hot water was a little clearer. I wish I felt a click or some haptic feedback when I first start turning the steam knob. And the knob is confusing because you rotate it counter clockwise, and according to the label and instructions, when you first twist the knob, hot water is at its highest flow, and then slows down as you turn the knob further. I think intuitively, I would expect less steam when you start twisting, and more steam flow as you twist the knob further. I basically just consider steam either on or off, rather than understanding low or high steam flow.

Works well and fast.My notes for improvement: Provide a small metal pitcher for milk frothing. Also, make a small “cheat sheet” with each button function. It’s spread out throughout the entire instruction manual and I didn’t see where it says how to turn it off but figured out to turn it off you hold down the power button a few seconds.I like the suction cups underneath machine that keep it in place.Mainly I feel like folks are going to want to open the box and use this a small steel frothing pitcher should be included. That’s my #1 suggestion. If I paid the current price and had to root for a metal cup to froth with or something that is a bit higher and narrower to fit I’d be disappointed.At the current price it’s not a great value for the money but it’s good.
