1 year in, working great!
I was a little nervous to buy a lower-priced espresso machine relative to others. I worried it would break quickly, Iâve heard the pumps go first. However, Iâve been pleasantly surprised! With daily use, the machine is going strong. It makes a great cup of espresso, and the steamer froths up milk very well. Itâs easy to use, not too many buttons/levers/dials for a beginner. I definitely recommend this as a starter machine if youâre just getting into making espresso at home. I have recommended this machine to my friends, too! I did buy a new tamper, the plastic one with the scoop on the other end was not very useful. No leaks, noise is not an issue, and itâs been easy to maintain.

Perfect compact espresso machine
Despite the size, this machine has a well-designed brewing group, with a shower that covers homogenously the puck surface (almost no need of an espresso screen!) – I was positively surprised. The steam is a bit weak, but works just fine and will give the time to non-experts to realize a nicely foamed latte. The baskets are held in place by a sturdy spring, which makes cleaning very easy. Would definitely recommend.Be careful when unpacking, some accessories are on the backside of the inner packaging – easy to miss!

1st Espresso Machine and I do not regret the purchase.
I normally brewed coffee, but after visiting my mom and trying her few grand costing coffee machine, I’d see what I could do with something within my budget. Setup was easy, the espresso maker makes a decent cup of coffee, and the frother, container is pretty convenient and does a great job. I just pour straight sugar free creamer into that side milk reservoir, make my coffee, then place the container back into the fridge. Just make sure the portion that dispenses the frothed creamer or milk is pointed towards the cup. I forgot one time, and doubt I’ll do that again.

Mattinata expresso maker
I bought this one to replace a previous one I bought and returned. This one is better quality for the price point and easy to use, no difficulty putting on the filter. The frother works great, depending on what milk you are using, will be thicker when using whole milk.

Works hreat!
I’ve had this for over a year now and am still very happy with it! It’s used at least 5x week for me and the BF. It’s still going with no problems! Very easy to use. We don’t use the frother very often, just lazy. When I do use it, it works great! Honestly, we’ve been slack about cleaning it properly, regularly, still no problems. Nice and.compact, too.I bought this to see of we would actually use an espresso machine enough to make it worthwhile to invest in a “bigger, better” one. And we have!Definitely worth it if you’re on the fence!

Unpredictable results
I bought one, and it’s noisy, buzzes. I programmed it to dispense twice as much for each 1 cup and 2 cup by following the programming for setting and resetting the amount dispensed for each.. The old machine, tho buzzy, did in fact dispense the correct amount for me 1 cup = 4 oz, 2 cups = 8 oz. The factory is 1 cup = 2 oz, and the 2 cups = 4 oz. this default is for those small espresso cups. but can be programmed for coffee mugs that are 8 oz.However, I didn’t like the buzzing, so I decided to get a replacement, but I planned to test them side by side. A). it didn’t buzz like the first one B) it refused to accept the programming on the 1 cup, 2 cup. to increase the dispensing by double so the 2 cup would = 8 oz. IT WOULD NOT Program, each test it produced half of what I wanted. To sit and press two cycles to dispense what I wanted, means sitting and waiting..This device.. 2 out of 2 machines, one worked, the newer one did not.. I’ll put up with some annoying buzzing, but I’d rather it dispense what I want; so the possibility that these devices are not properly tested at the manufacture (in china, of course); So, the new one is going back now..Buyer beware.
