Although, I don’t know much about Espresso,I can tell if it’s a decent quality machine or not. It has more metal parts that it does plasticwhich is a good thing and it will likely last longer thanother machines in this class. Over-all I’d say that the accessoriesand this machine are a good quality products.|â½ Price At Time Of Review: $199.99|â½ Issues:â¦ The instruction manual is a little too basic especiallyfor the novice user in my opinion. It could use a bit moredetail on set-up & things such as the proper coffee beangrind. Some of the symbols used don’t seem to be usedproperly for what they indicate.âªâ½ OVER-ALL:â¦ Once I learn how to use this Espresso machine better,I will definitely be using it often. Simple machine, complex results
There was a timeâbrief but memorableâwhen I worked as a barista. Letâs just say my latte art was more âabstract expressionismâ than âdelicate rosetta,â and my espresso shots? Well, they happened. Pulling espresso is a skill, an art, a precise scienceâ¦ one that I was objectively terrible at. But nostalgia is a powerful thing, and my growing love for an extra shot in my coffee convinced me to take another crack at itâwith the help of a semi-automatic 15-bar espresso machine. Right out of the box, itâs clear this little machine is a far cry from the hulking industrial espresso beasts I fumbled with in the past. Itâs compact, sleek, and surprisingly stylishânone of the clunky, intimidating presence of a commercial machine. And yet, the espresso it pulls? Not a far cry at all. In fact, the results are shockingly good, even rivaling what a seasoned barista could coax out of those multi-thousand-dollar cafÃ© behemoths. Now, itâs not without its quirks. Some of the plastic parts had me side-eyeing its long-term durability, but so far, nothing has cracked, broken, or crumbled under pressure. The real challenge, though? The instructions. Whoever wrote them was either a minimalist or a sadist because they leave a lot to be desired. Luckily, I have an aptitude for figuring things out, so I managed. But if I didnât? I might still be staring at it, wondering if I accidentally bought a countertop sculpture instead of an espresso machine. Once dialed in, though, itâs smooth sailing. The operation is simple, the noise level is minimal (no waking up the entire household just for a morning jolt), and best of all, it saves both time and money. No more detours to overpriced coffee shops when I can craft a solid espresso at homeâwithout having to channel my inner (and deeply flawed) barista. If only I had this thing back in my cafÃ© daysâ¦ I might not have been so terrible after all.

new using the machine. I like it.
I have only had the machine for a week. However, I have been pleased with the quality and ease of use. Any questions I have had I asked my daughter. She worked to starbucks for seven years, and, retired last year. I would like to see some training videos. I have not had a machine like this before. I had a one shot k machine.

Espresso Machine Saves Me $
I bought this so i could save money on buying lattes at Starbucks. It has done just that for me. It is easy to use and makes my coffee hot, hot which i really like. It looks nice sitting on my counter. I am so glad i made the purchase and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality machine that does not break the bank yet produces a delicious latte. Thank you, Emeril, for another kitchen tool that functions great!
