Double walled and larger than most. Once you french press in a clean vessel like this it’s hard to go back to any other coffee maker.

not vacuum insulated
It’s a double wall glass French press and it works well, but it is definitely NOT vacuum insulated. It does not retain heat much better than single wall glass, certainly not as well as the true vacuum sealed double wall steel presses you’ll find on Amazon. Example, started with boiling hot water measured at 212f and 20 minutes later it was at 160f.The good thing is that it’s glass, so, I can microwave my coffee before pouring it :-/

We have bought already several of these French press. It is double walled glass. A bit fragile. Keeps coffee warm longer. Excellent value and quality.
