How to clear a jammed grinder.
If you run into the same problem I had, with the grinder getting jammed, and you are unable to adjust the level of coarseness, this is how to fix it. Flip the unit upside down, until all of the contents settle to the top of the unit, then press the button to grind, and hold it until all of the product clears from the level adjuster opening. Use the brush, to brush out excess product, and then you should be able to turn the adjuster nut to adjust the coarseness level. You should see the opening get wider or smaller. I hope this helps someone like me, who thought I had a defective product. It took me a little bit of experimenting to figure this out.

Great when manual grinding is not desired!
Quick note, I ordered and received the black version even though this indicates I ordered purple.I added two different salts to these because I wanted something more useable for my kids to self-serve their favorite salt. It comes with a charging dock which I have permanently placed on the kitchen table so the kids can use it whenever we eat, and keep it charged at the same time. It does dispense fairly quickly so I wish there was a way to maybe adjust that; however, it is still better than the free-flowing one the kids have been using so far (since they can not use the manual grinder these salts require yet)). In the end, it does help with dosing, and they feel like they can do this themselves. Pressing the button is simple and it works. And now they get to use the “healthier” salts more often. Win-Win.Seems to be able to hold a lot of grains, and the clear window helps to see whats inside and when it might run out. It is mostly plastic, and maybe not as classy as those wooden manual grinders, but for us, this works prefect.

Functional, Easy to Use, and Sleek look
I was so excited to receive these salt and pepper shakers. I love grinding my own salt and pepper, but sometimes hand grinding is difficult, depending on the size of the salt crystal or peppercorn. This easy-to-operate electric set dispenses both with precision. I immediately opened the box and read the instructions for charging; it is not battery-operated, it is USB-charged! The docking station plugs in, and the set sits nicely in outlined grooves for charging. It did not take long to be fully charged, and I twisted the top and loaded Himalayan salt crystals and peppercorns; it took a large amount of each to fill each grinder. After filling, I turned each over, and there were multiple settings for the grind, from fine to coarse and in between. Each container is one-button, easy to operate, quiet, sleek, and easy to hold. Even though each was full to the maximum, they were lightweight. The product delivered the grind I selected quickly and precisely. I appreciate no longer having to operate hand grinders and have retired them both for the ease and comfort of this set of Fecorraimne electric salt and pepper grinders.

Great Salt & Pepper Set
This is such a great set of electric, rechargeable Salt and Pepper Grinders. The top was a little tricky to figure out how to remove the lid to fill the shakers up, but easy once I figured it out. You get both a salt and a pepper grinder, and the set comes charged and ready to try out. There is a base that the grinders sit in, and this is where the charging port is, not on the shakers themselves, which is a really nice feature. Very simple to charge, uses a standard C-type for the port in the base of the set, and a standard USB for the power supply end. The set I ordered is black, so it will fit in any decor and not show smudges. There is a see-through window that shows what’s inside the grinder and how much is inside, so you know when to fill it up. There are several choices of how you want it ground, from coarse to fine and everywhere in between, depending on your needs and preferences. I would absolutely recommend this set.
