We love these for their appearance and adjustable coarse to fine delivery of product. The only downside would be frequency of filling if a large family. Batteries last for months but remember batteries are not provided as part of the deal. Delivered on time. We have used these daily for 3 years now so well tested and no sign of them giving up . A metal case and easy to refill. Highly recommended.

Just worth it
I would not have jumped at the initial Price but I did at 35 and I did it even at that begrudgingly. I have been described as….particular and I don’t a lot of room to argue against it so when I say my pepper is expected to be fresh cracked know i don’t compromise. Getting older now though and the grinding work is getting to be harder on me as i also am a heavy pepper user. Mechanical assistance it is.This unit has a firm but easy to press top button to start grinding. It’s not an out of control pepper slaughterer and it’s easy to control pepper loading. Easier than doing it by hand I think, with a hand grinder i was definitely applying pepper a half turn or more at a time but this time i can stop when it’s just right. It’s the little things.It takes four AA batteries that are not included EACH so two grinders will clear out some batteries. The spice holding area isn’t very large but it’s large enough to survive at least four of my dishes worth of pepper grinding and an entire McCormick single use pepper grinder could not.My only complaint is the base is does not seem to go with the grinders, it doesn’t secure it at all, it’s too large. I consider it a minor gripe but if you are thinking this will stay up in an RV cooking set, don’t expect an included secure solution.Easy to use, excellent features, priced competitively, and heads-up design makes this powered grinder a win in my book.Edit: Later I did something and the whole bottom fell out. It seems I somehow unscrewed it by holding it too close while grinding. It wasn’t too difficult to put back together but i made the mistake again but this time i seem to have lost a very unique screwed washer of some sort and i can no longer put one of them back together.

Buy these, you will not regret
We are on our second set of these. The original set that we had, someone who will remain nameless (a child) turned the coarseness dial all the way until it literally got stuck and we could not change the size of the salt. Battery operated but with normal use, they last about 4-5 months. These were bought for my husband who likes to cook and the manual ones just seemed so tedious. They are super easy to use and refill. You can use them onehanded. The only thing that I would like for them would be for them to have a base that is more sturdy to hold them. They come with a plastic tray that does not hold them in place and ours have fallen over. You can skip the tray though as they have rubber covers on them. Best purchase for cooking. Highly recommend.
