Gorgeous and Highly Effective Portable Cordless True Espresso Grinder
This is a gorgeous and highly effective portable rechargeable espresso grinder – surprisingly so. It is a true espresso grinder; while many grinders advertise espresso grinding capabilities, and yield an inadequate to so-so output, this is the real deal. After some fiddling and figuring out the click gauge to designate grind size, this little gadget produced – and I kid you not – the very best cup of espresso Iâve had in my entire life. Thatâs including boutique coffee shops known for their high quality espresso, and every single espresso Iâve made for myself at home. My very first yield was so impressively smooth, with a luxuriously huge head if crema, that I set the pitcher of prepared microfoamed milk to the side and drank it as is. It was amazingly heavenly, smooth, creamy, silken foamy and slightly sweet with nothing added to it whatsoever, not even hot water for an Americano. It was perfection. I finally get why espresso aficionados claim that the grinder is the most important tool for making the best espresso. I have a Breville Barista Touch, and have mostly used the integrated grinder which I believe is supposed to be a Bartaza, so itâs no slouch if not super high end. Still, the standalone grinder that is equivalent to my machineâs integrated grinder, if purchased separately, would be a little under double the cost of this machine, and the results are light years apart. This is an incredible piece of machinery. And form is as well considered as function: the exterior is stylish, cute, and fun to hold and use, for which the company was recognized with a design award.The only negative – and it pains me to say this – is that, as another reviewer pointed out, with the internal battery and no optional external power supply to plug in and bypass the battery, this awesome grinder will be rendered disposable when the battery is eventually depleted. Why? That is such a bummer and seems so wrong. I could see owning this forever and loving it forever. Itâs sad that this was designed to be destined for a landfill one day. I could see using this at home on the daily, and replacing my integrated grinder with it, even if it were slightly less convenient, because the results are off the charts amazing and – forgot to mention this – it is extremely quiet. I wasnât expecting how whisper quiet it would be, and itâs not just because the casing insulates the sound, not at all. The motor, gears and burrs are just that quiet, even with the top and bottom off.Despite the disappointment with its disposable nature, Iâd still highly recommend this grinder. Apparently most grinders have a lifespan of several years only, so limited lifespan appears to be the nature of the beast. He results are delicious, its cute and pleasant to use, and the price is right. Who could ask for more?

Best Portable Coffee Grinder
I’m tired of manual coffee grinders. They are nearly all various degrees of the sameâleaving you cranking it for forever. This is as easy as it gets and it actually works well and feels very high quality and well made and looks amazing. And the Almond Cream color is beautifulâreminds me of a cup of coffee with a splash of cream.It does take a little to grind ~20g of coffee, but it does it quietlyâso not quite quick, but definitely quiet. I would say around 20-30g is the most you can grind at a time as it fills the bottom container quite full at that amount. Though if you remove the bottom and grind directly into another container than would allow for more grams overall.Biggest downsides for me is the grind settings do not having numbers, they must be clicked/turned and you need to count and remember the number of clicks made to know what grind setting you are on. Also, no way to really grind and adjust grind size simultaneously, which is the best/proper way to adjust grind settings. If you need to adjust mid-grind, it’s also a bit tough to do so with coffee grounds clogging the gear adjuster piece. It’d be great if there was a turn ring on the outside to adjust as you grindâit’d also keep your hands clean of the messy coffee grounds. A minor issue, especially if you find the setting you like and use the same coffee beans/brew method, but if you’re constantly changing things up, it could become annoying. Another downside/concern is cleaningâunsure if this can fully come apart to do a deep clean, but that would be my concern for the long run/life of the product. Time will also tell on battery life. I’ll be back to update this review if battery life performance is particularly poor.Overall, this seems to be a solid product that should hopefully last for a while (battery willing) and is a great option if you’re in the market for a small, cute portable electric coffee grinder.

Consistent grind quality that is great for pour-overs and Aeropress brews.
As a pour over enthusiast, this grinder has impressed me. My daily grinder is a 1zpresso ZP6 and while this Nuttii grinder doesn’t come close to the clarity and lack of fines producee by the ZP6 it does a very acceptable job. I’d compare it to many of Timemore’s other grinders like the Chestnut C3. It produces a consistent grind quality with an acceptable amount of fines that results in a cup with nice body and great flavor. The electric function is especially helpful for those with limited mobility or strength and to see an electric option in such a compact package is wonderful.I’m impressed with how much they fit into this little grinder. The battery lasts for plenty of time (a couple days of coffee at least.) This is a perfect entry level grinder that won’t do you dirty. It can really make great coffee and was produced excellent cups through my Orea V4 ceramic, Hario Switch ceramic, and Aeropress. I did not test any espresso or French press brews as I don’t have a way to.
